Shark Week Volunteers Update May 15

UPDATE:

We've had a strong response over the last week or two for volunteers to help around the T & C during Shark Week 4. Thank you to those who volunteered.

However, we're still in need of any local Maine/NH riders to help with the guided day rides. We're initially asking for locals so that we can set up times to preride the numerous routes we'll use for Tues/Wed/Thurs. However, if you're not local but have some experience as Road Captains or Sweepers and would like to help out, please PM "GMAN SERGU". Gauthama is coordinating all of the day rides and would like to hear from anyone willing to lead a day ride or two.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The organizers of Shark Week 4 are now actively looking for volunteers to help at SW4. We need both Road Captains/Tailgunners to help with guided day rides, and also some general help around the host hotel for a couple hours here and there.

1) If you want to volunteer for general help, please contact me with a PM so I can get you on a list.

2) We are looking for local (Maine/N.H./ maybe MA.) riders who wouldn't mind volunteering to be Road Captains or Tail Gunners for our guided day rides during the event. We're askin for local folks first because we will preride the routes once or twice between now and the event. A bit of experience with group rides preferred but not absolutely necessary. Experience herding cats a big plus and puts you at the top of the list! :D We have three days of guided rides so you can volunteer for 1, 2, or all 3 days. All guided day rides are unique to a specific day so you won't be asked to run the same route on more than one day - so you won't miss any of the destinations.

To volunteer for the guided rides, or to just get more information on that please PM "GMAN SERGU". We plan to spend a day or two preriding the routes within the next 4-6 weeks. We will not interfere with any plans you have for the long Memorial Day weekend, we'll schedule the prerides before or after that weekend.

We have a record number of attendees and will need all the Road Captains and Tail Gunners we can get. Please get involved and help make this the best SW ever.

Thank you in advance for your willingness to lend a hand!

I plan to arrive one day early. Please find something simple/menial/braindead/gofer/harmless that I can assist with--with minimal supervision and some advanced training, I can do folding chairs.....:)

My initial plan is to arrive Sunday night. Once my scenic route is finalized, I'll have a better idea.

I can help out with some stuff on Monday if needed.

for example watching 'neverdone' supervise 'outcast1'???:D

"watching 'neverdone' supervise 'outcast1'"

Naw, we'd never saddle anyone with that much responsibility! :D
