16 rgs with boom2, keeping head unit , getting rid of amps and speakers (one front and one rear blown)after flashing hu , with new amp and good coaxial speakers do I really need a dsp? Realistically I know it’s going to cost around 1500, but I don’t want to spend a bunch on component set. Still more guns I want to acquire.. thanks for the feedback

Do you need it, probably not. Would it make a difference, probably if tuned right
What amp and speakers?

No, it's not necessary and as Philly asked what Amp and Speakers?
If You are going with One (1) Amp and Two Coaxial Speakers I wouldn't add a DSP to it.
Make sure that The Amp that You purchase is fully adjustable too.
If You set the Gains properly You will have a nice-sounding Two Speaker Setup.
If You have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.
Best of Luck.

Replacing faring and bag speakers, undecided on amp and speaker brands, speakers have to hold up to rain and uv, ride to work 3 seasons, probably like most things, I’ll get what I pay for I suppose

What music do you listen to? How loud do you want it?
Rain and UV is no problem.
Spend your money wisely and put your own system together. Cheaper and you get the sound you want.

MMats Coaxial Speakers and Stinger Amp are what a lot of guys are running now with awesome sounds.
MMats PA 601 CX 6.5 for The Fairing and MMats PA690.4CX 6x9 for The Lids. Powered by the Stinger SPX700x4 Amp.
This should give you a very awesome sounding System at a reasonable price tag.
If You decide on this let me know and I can refer You to the person I bought My MMats from for a great price.
I am not sure if You need a line leveler or not since You have Your Headunit Flashed already. Maybe someone with a Rushmore will know better.
Best of Luck!

I’ll check out those speakers and amps, thanks for the input
Yoda, make sure to get the water treatment with the MMats it's worth the extra $10.00 each.
Also check Amazon for the Stinger Amp they have a great price on it now.
Best of Luck.

Contemplating this exact setup for my fairing speakers and amp. Prob two more of those speakers for the TP (not bags). And from what I’ve researched, you still need line levelers, to get the high output of the head unit down to low inputs of the amp - and, to normalize the odd equalization coming from the HU.
