I am planning to install a PN4.520D Picasso Nano tomorrow. I have a wiring question.
I know the amp has to intercept the signal to the speakers. The fronts will be easy. I am going to disconnect the front speaker leads. Make a jumper, so as not to have to splice / cut the harness, to take care of my input. Then run new speaker wire from the output. Please let me know if these isn't the best idea.
My question has to do with the rear channel. Is there any other option besides cutting / splicing into the wire? I can think of no other way. If you have installed an amp and have rear speakers, how did you intercept the rear channel?
Sorry to be dense...just absolutely hate the idea of cutting the harness...but I will if no other choice.
THANKS!

Since the rear speakers are so far away, I'd just cut the harness. If your dead set against cutting the harness, just run a long jumper and hook up the rear channel like your doing the front. Since your wiring the amp by high level input you won't need a remote power wire either, just battery power & ground.
