Does anyone have this setup from soundz customz. There carbon 65.2 series are $800 per pair. That’s some major coin!!! They have done work on my 2013 RG CVO but they were Focal brand and I was very pleased. Now they’re pushing this carbon series. A friend of a friend had them do an install at Delmarva bike week and was very disappointed with the sound. Spent over $2000 and ended up having it ripped out and replaced with the Boom II. Which I think sucks and that’s why I’m having it replaced in my 2018 RG CVO. I was ready to pull the trigger but after talking to him I’m not so sure.

I purchased full system from Soundz and couldn’t be happier. Actually going to order another pair of Iron 65s for lowers coming soon.

Iron 65 front fairing
SS4.100-amp
Iron 69.2 - lids installed using RF lid cut kit

I was going to order the carbons but per Statement from Peter at Soundz went with Irons.

This was from Peter.
“Unless you are a hardcore Focal guy, the Carbons can be a bit too midrange heavy and almost be tinny with some music. * The Iron 65 uses the same tweeter but a waterproof paper cone which yields much better midbass and a very smooth transition into the midrange and treble while being obnoxiously loud when you desire!”

Alex. What did he do with his old soundz setup then????

There’s gotta be something else behind the story there. I’ve personally heard 2 bikes with the carbons and am blown away with how much sound comes from just 6.5” and 5x7’s

If he’s happier with the boom setup he might have a different taste of how he listens to music.
The carbons like to be played loud!!!!!

Not trying to hijack your thread, but are the Soundz speakers the same as Biketronics or the Hertz brand I think it is? After checking out the carbon speakers, the Soundz speakers look just like them.

Soundz Carbon = Focal
Biketronics = Hybrid Audio
Hertz = Hertz

I have listend to the Carbon and not impressed at all. My opinion
There is a lot more options out there.
Go to the audio forum on the other site and you can see systems from 2 speaker to 8 speakers. There is a thread called "my $500 system will blow yours away", something like that. Anyway, lots of good info over there and helpful guys.
