Well, I just ordered lower fairings for my 09. I'm looking forward to getting them painted and installed. I'm wanting to begin the upgrade on my audio by putting some speakers in the lowers. I know it can be done, but i just haven't found the right parts. Every kit I have found so far fits everything except a RG. Any suggestions?

These are for Ultra's but if the fairing lowers are the same, should work, I have heard them ... sound great..

what the difference of lower fairing and standard fairing?

I have a RG CVO 2009, and i don't want to buy bad refer.

Dj, when i refer to lower fairing, I mean the fairings that bolt on to the crash bar for the engine, like the ultra classics have.

Ok, i looked at the hawg wired site. I have a 09 with non vented fairings. They have the kit for a 2010 vented fairing. Am i not looking in the right section or something?

I don't think Hog Tunes makes a setup for the non vented fairings.

Your rite. Checked it myself and it definatly says must have Vented Lowers.I'm thinkn that if ya call them they will get ya hooked up. I dont no tho?... might not be able to be done? I want to tend to think different tho. Check Biketronics to. They mite have somethin... Good Luck ! Let us no what ya hear!

I just wonder how difficult it would be to modify my own. HD makes the glove boxes for the fairings, so i would have to adapt them to the glove boxes. If you know anyone that has done this, let me know. Thanks

Road Glide Lower fairing pockets are a very different shape. 2010 models are the same as Ultras.

Firecap1962, I just got off the phone with the other firecap, from the hd forums. Ya mite want to call him and discuss your options, he sounded very informitive and knew his stuff! He sells all the ARC equipment. He's out of Oklahoma. I called him about some 6.5" speakers for my system, and thought ya mite want to talk to this guy, about what ya want to do.

I have seen adapters to put 5.25 speakers in the vented lowers, has anyone seen or heard about adapters for 6.5 speakers in vented lowers?
