This question has probably been asked before,and if so I apologize. Just wondering if I swap my factory wheels for afterrmarket 21"front and 18" rear does the speedometer have to be recalibrated?

Yes the speedometer needs to be re calibrated.
The speed sensor is in the transmission so the speed is determined by how fast/slow the trans is turning, changing the rear wheel will affect the trans speed and it will reflect on the speedometer.
Most HD speedometers read 3 to 5 mph fast so use a GPS to see what your actual speed is, if you don't want the speedometer re calibrated just make a note on the difference between the GPS and your speedometer and you should be good.
