Your '11 103" motor has automatic compression releases(ACRs) as delivered from the factory, activated electrically when you push the starter button. The easy start cams would be redundant and not needed.
If you listen closely when you start your bike you can hear the muffled "pht" "pht" sound from the releases.
What he said. No need for easy start. As for the chain or gear, chain is std in the bike. Gear drive will cost you more to upgrade to, and i have heard that in order to go to a gear driven cam, the crank should be welded so as to avoid any runout issues on the stock crank.
