Thinkin about riding the seaway out to Gaspe B.C. Oct 1st. for fall colors. Is the north or south side of the seaway more scenic? Nova Scotia only if the weather is good, Back through Maine,N.H., Vermont, N.Y. We have frost warnings here tonight. If the forcasts are not good when I leave Ill go south for a plate of grits.

Looped the Gaspe counterclockwise last summer, very scenic on both sides.
North shore is more rugged and steep, south shore more rolling hills, I thought. Not sure how the colors would be, lotta fir, pine ,and spruce up there.

I bet the Matapedia Valley from Matane down to Campbellton NB is spectacular in the fall.

Color is like 30-50% in far Northern ME. I was in Greenville for lunch today and rode around Moosehead a little, 10-20% change maybe, south of Bangor probably 0-5%. Up north will change fast in the next 10 days or so.

We get a big storm and it will knock em some off too. The reds go first. There will be color until the end of Oct, just the bright colors will be gone.

New Hampshire and Vermont will be parking lots in the next coupple weeks, Threat and collision
avoidance procedures will need to set on maximum.. whole lotta gawking going on, and we are little specks in the road

20s and 30s up north in the mornings now , supposed to be 38 in Bangor tonight. Goes down into the 40s even when its nice. been 65-70 during the day here. Havent seen the extended beyond next week, but take a lot of laundry with you in anycase. I've been wearing ski pants on the morning ride in to work. Gaspe is a hundred miles and more north of Maine.
