Just picked up my bike from the dealership after having the Stage 5 Tire Shredder kit installed (also had the engine blacked out and a new Roland Sands air cleaner). Man this baby really hauls now. Final numbers are 119.04hp and 119.60 max torque with my V&H Pro Pipe. Going to take it easy for the break in period and should be primed to rip it in the spring.

Attached are a couple pics. Will upload video when I have the time to mess with it.

Those are some bas-ass numbers. What did that cost you?

Wow!! That's sweet. I been contemplating doing either the same kit or a 107 Jim's. Your # make me lean toward a 110 tire shredder kit. What it cost complete installed and everything if you don't mind. Thanks

My dealership was running a special on the kit installed with dyno for a little under $3000.
I spent a little closer to $4000 because I bought HD black engine pieces and a new Roland sands air cleaner. They did the race tune on it for me so I got slightly bigger numbers versus the street tune.

Unfortunately it's been raining since yesterday where I live but the beginning of the week is supposed to be nice the next few days so I'm going to break her in.

Is that price including the tuner? Which tuner are you using?

What cams are you using?
Using the cams that come in the kit. SE-259's. Didn't want to get too extreme and stray from the kit until I have ridden it. Have to say I'm very happy with it and it doesn't handle/sound too "clunky" in the low rpm range compared to some other bikes I've seen with big cams.

Another impossible dyno chart. Not saying there is anything wrong with the build or even the numbers.

HP and torque are unit measurements of work. There is no such thing as unwork. You cannot do negative work, it does not exist (although my lazy sister comes close). You can do no work, a little work, a lot of work or anything in between, but you cannot do unwork.

Even if the bike had a reverse gear that would not be negative work.

Definition of torque;

1: a force that produces or tends to produce rotation or torsion <an automobile engine delivers torque to the drive shaft>; also : a measure of the effectiveness of such a force that consists of the product of the force and the perpendicular distance from the line of action of the force to the axis of rotation
2: a turning or twisting force

Definition of HP;

1: the power that a horse exerts in pulling
2: a unit of power equal in the United States to 746 watts and nearly equivalent to the English gravitational unit of the same name that equals 550 foot-pounds of work per second
3: effective power <intellectual horsepower> <computing horsepower>

Notice that neither definition specifies direction. Therefore going the opposite direction is just HP or torque in the other direction.

Just like MPH, you can go 20 MPH forward or backward or West or East, or even up or down, but you cannot go -20 MPH. There is no such thing.

Rant over...return to you normally scheduled thread.... :)

That is funny. Why does it have -HP numbers?

Relax guys, it's just a graph. Most programs can probably show that. Like you said, you can't have negative numbers so it doesn't mean anything. It was just a view that the tech chose for some reason. I would like to see a real expanded view to see a more detailed view of the curves though.

Everyone is technically correct, you cannot do "negative work". However, some dynos measure work by using continuous acceleration. The "negative" that shows on this Dyno is the result of the tuner allowing the bike to coast while keeping it in gear. Some will also display negative numbers if the brake is applied. It looks more pronounced due to the compressed view of the graph.
