The past 2 weeks I cannot start my 2011 road glide while I am in gear. It starts when in neutral but not when in gear. Battery?

Mine does

There is a switch in the left switch housing in the clutch side of the handlebars, this switch is the neutral safety switch, when you try to start the bike when it is in gear the clutch lever has to be pulled in which will push in the button on the neutral safety switch and this allows you to start the bike while it is in gear.
If the neutral safety switch is bad or broken or not installed properly then you can not start the bike when it is in gear and the neutral safety switch need to be R&R.
