If you are ever on the Blue Ridge Parkway on the northern edge of North Carolina at highway 18, you HAVE to stop at Stations Inn for a burger and a beer. On the weekend they have a band and a parking lot FULL of bikes. Great destination for a weekend ride.

yes and there is a newer one right across the street that opened this past fall. I can't remember what the name of the place is. I remember it's called Freebournes

Yeah, I hear that one is a "yuppie" biker bar...whatever that is! LOL

Station's Inn is a good place to stop. We usually ride up there 2-3 times a year. Good food, cold beer and a lot of bikes.

Going to ride up to Cross Roads HD and head on up to the Inn for some chow...my first time going up on the RGC

We rode up to Stations Inn Sunday, the parking lot was PACKED but Stations Inn only had about 20-25 people there. Everybody was at the new place across the street. SI had free hotdogs and wasn't serving anything off the menu and didn't have any watresses working either. I hope the place don't close down because of the new place.

I heard the new place is yuppie, so I wont be going there.
