So, purchased (and installed) Stage-1, Pro Street Tuner, and cables. Cha-CHING. Just plugged the tuner in and no calibration available for California… we’re almost halfway into 2021 WTH?? Has anyone heard when one might be available?

Just got off the phone with Harley support and they consulted with a powertrain specialist. He made some calls and instructed me to remove the SE air cleaner and slip-in’s until the tune is available. Harley says the bike will run too lean and I risk voiding the warranty. They also confirmed that they provided CA with all of their 2021 tunes (even for the 131 stage-4) in January, but the California air board has yet to approve any of them. So it’s a waiting game. Despite that message from Harley, two separate dealers indicated to me that their owners got word the 2021 tunes would be available mid June. As my bike has only 1000 miles, I’m going to put the OEM parts back on.

No tuner will be available for CA as the liberal run state legislature made it dam near impossible when u have a 2021 or newer model the vin can not be read for tuner to work that was straight from a dealer better off getting one outta state and pay the fee or just move

Where did you get that information? Several Tuning devices are working on calibrations for 2021 bikes. They have to reengineer the tuning device since HD went with a new ECM. It will take time to do that. I would think calibrations for 2021 bikes would hopefully be available by 3rd QTR 2021. No need to move.....

Odd man out on these pages, but the ECM can more than compensate for a frickin air cleaner and some mufflers...not sure where that comes from that you need a tune BECAUSE of that. Hell, the 114 runs great as is but if all one did was get a tuner for it, sure it's going to be a bit better. As your tuning it, I do, to how you ride...my .02

In general the stock ECM will adjust for one mod either the air filter mod or pipes mod. IMO do the air filter mod first, CA has strict regulations on EPA exhaust systems and noise.

I spoke directly with Harley. Your dealer is mistaken. COVID slowed everything to a crawl.

Multiple owners posting they were released this morning.

2021 Touring and Trike for all 50 states appeared this morning with the exception of the 107 Stage-1. (Oddly enough, the 107 Stage-2 Torque Cam WAS included). Guess I’ll keep hitting the update button!

Sorry, the only 2021 Touring tune available as of today is the 107 Stage-2. Just one. There was an update to the software last week that got everyone excited but it didn’t come with new tunes. I just keep a bookmark to the software download link and check regularly for a new version. Currently, it’s StreetTuner21.002.5000.exe

I had my ECM updated with my Stage 1 last month. It made noticeable difference. I’m in WestTN.

I work for a dealer and have been in contact with Harley weekly about this. They had all the tunes sent to carb 4 months ago and we’re told April 1 they would be available. Nothing. Also new for 2021 in California any tune that is not carb approved on any year/model bike is not available anymore. Thanks California

Can you elaborate on this?
If you have a 20015 road glide and want to put a tire shredder kit in it there are no carb tunes for it. When you hook up the se tuner it will not even come up as a calibration. I put a set of cams in a sportster this year and went to do a tune and there was nothing available. Last year when you would do race tunes it would just say race tune. Now it doesn’t even offer it. If your bike has a California vin anything that carb considers a race tune is no longer available for the se tuner

Hey, I just found this post because I bought a screamin eagle tuner and it says no tunes available. I have a 2021 road king and live in Oklahoma. apparently it has a CA vin and is not letting me program it, there are some h-d guys on here that have been in contact with the higher up's it seems, so maybe they can offer some input?

Your dealer in OK must have traded or located your RK from CA. Lots of us have open tickets with Harley Support and the reality is, their hands are tied. They can't post the tunes until California approves them (and they've had them in their hands since January).
