Looks interesting, Jamie, thanks.

Question - why would a 2015 upgraded to a 107 perform differently from, say a 2010 upgraded to a 107, with the same parts?

I guess I'm thinking that its interesting to know what a stock 2015 makes, but thats about it, a 107 is a 107, no?

I'll say that its great that a stock 2015 makes rougly 50% more power than, a stock 2006 (2006 makes about 65TQ yes?).

Hp/Tq wise a 107" equipped 2015 bike is not going to be different from a 2010 if it has the same components, however the ECM and calibration has changed 4 times since 2010 (it is again different for 2015 from the 2014 bikes). As calibration levels and hardware changes we need to get each bike in an make all new calibrations for various exhaust system and engine components.

I talked to a salesman at a local HD dealership while looking at the 2015 RG,he told me that the new rushmore engine made 84 hp at the rear wheel,i did think that this was a good bit for a stock bike, but your dyno run kinda debunks this.

When you accelerated with the 9 disk combo vs the 14 disc combo on the dyno, did it "feel"/appear the exhaust was being restricted and/or did not "rev up" as quickly as the 14 disc combo?

thank you for your testing.

I put these same V&H slip ons but also added the true dual header pipes to my 15' Special. At least this gives me a basic idea of where my bike stands as well. Thanks for the info.

True dual will look different than any of the other tuned exhausts.

15 Road Glide back on the dyno this week with Stage 1 testing. We installed a FM Pro Billet Stage 1 air cleaner and tested an assortment of aftermarket mufflers (as well as the factory mufflers) on the factory head pipe. Each combination was tuned with Dynojet Power Vision. We made good performance improvements over stock, each muffler we tested was a solid performer and were within 3Hp/3Tq overall. With the addition of a Stage 1 air cleaner and tune we picked up about +7Hp/7Tq on average.

Numbers look good and are comparable to what I got on my stage 1 after a dyno run.

Dyno testing the Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipe with an assortment of mufflers on our 2015 Road Glide. Here are the results of the better performers as well as the stock mufflers, tested several others which are not worthy of posting.

was this w the 103 HO motor ?
I don't think so. The HO motor, standard on the 'Special' is claimed to have 104 lbs of torque out of the box. This bike is a standard model, not a Special. I know that because you can't get that color on the special (which I would like on my next RG).

I know I probably won't, but considering staying stock on the soon to be my 15 Special. My 12 does 97hp/107tq and I am happy with that. I want to have it for a few days and determine what I am going to do next. Ready for something a tad quieter.
