Recently I noticed that when ever I stop and turn of my bike and then start it up again the radio jumps to the next input option. AM to FM. FM to CD. CD to Aux.... I do not believe it did this before. The only thing I have changed latley are the handlebars. No ther problems. Anyone else have this issue or do I have Harley elves messin with me?

Do you have something plugged into your AUX hole? I noticed when I had my XM on the bike and kept it plugged in the radio would do that.

I would start by checking Chain's suggestion, if that is not it, you may have pinched one of the wires when reassembling the bars. After doing a new bar install I was having a problem with the radio volume going up on its on, upon examination I found a wire pinched and grounding to the bars, put some heat shrink on it and made sure not to pinch it again, problem solved.

I had the same problem last week when I changed out the bars.
When i pulled on the brake lever the mode would change from FM to CD to WB etc...
The clamp on the front brake lever had pinched and grounded a couple of wires.
Try taking off the right side switch housing and look at the wires . Pretty sure you will solve your problem there.

Ditto. Same thing happened to me. Be very careful getting the wires properly seated in the dimple on the bars when you put it back together....

That was it. I had mounted my MP3 player when I put on the new bars and kept it plugged into the Aux jack. I am always amzed at the wealth of knowledge and information available from this board. Thank you.
