Yea, more cam questions. Cant make up my mind between woods 222 or woods 777 cams. I have 2012 fltrx, lsr 2 into 1 exhaust, v&h intake, screamin eagle race tuner. I ride mostly 1 up and all kinds of riding. Need some opinions.
Thanks in advance

I would call Fuel Moto, who knows the cams you are considering. From what I know, if you're just going to bolt in a cam, the 222 is a great cam. The 777 needs more compression and ported heads. But I'm just an idiot, call Fuel Moto.

The two cams your asking about are completely opposite of each other. The 222 is a great bolt in cam for a 103" and has strong low and mid-range power. Like HIB said, the 777's want more comp. and will be a disappointment in a stock motor at anything less than 3000 rpm.

As already mentioned, those are 2 totally different cams.
The 222 is in fact a plug/play for the 96 and 103", and the 777 NEEDS to be set at 10.4-5 cr.
S&S .583 would be a candidate, as would be an Andrews 48.
No wonder there is confusion on cams, as every other "shop" out there has a cam, new cam, claiming to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
We had Comp Cams manufacture several cams to our specs almost 20 years ago,(one was an .813" lift ) but decided that there were already too many then.
About 6 years ago we had Andrews cut a cam up for us that worked very well had had 10 of them made.
Took us about 8 man hours to design it here, with special software we have had.
With tens of thousands of logged miles at this point, on various engine sizes/configruations, showing great results, we still hedge to release it publicly.
Too many damn cams out there already.
..........:)

+1 way too many cams out there i was trying to figure out for my self looking at way too many dyno charts, i decided to buy cheap bought andrews 57h save 150 $ ish on the cam for mine. I should install it in 2 weeks. At the end of the day i want more torque and i think i will get there and saved my self few bucks. At a street light agaisnt cam xxx the driver will make the difference not the cam all beeing equal( no other mods cough cough)
