I'm one of those guys who is almost never satisfied. I'll be tinkering with this thing constantly, its just how I am. I'm no expert but messing around, wrenching and learning is half of the fun.

Would like to perk the 103 stage 4 up a bit more. Cams probably, pipes maybe, better flowing heads probably.

Right now I have the screaming eagle kit. 10.5-1 compression, ported heads, 259e cams, S&S power duals with street performance mufflers from screaming eagle, high vol oil pump, adjustable premium tapered pushrods. 58mm A/C, high flow injectors. Thundermax is on order.

want to go gear drive cams. possibly 2-1(need to be able to keep the volume down somewhat too). I never ride 2 up. Load the bike with an extra 60lbs or so sometimes. Not liking the cams. I dont rev the hell outta my bike much...5,000rpm is LOTS for me. Like to ride around 2,000-4,000 rpm.

Any suggestions on what you'd change first and so on.

I suggest you place a call to Drago's for information. They are constantly coming up with packages to allow your bike to perform in the range you want. Everybody will have an opinion but Frank has the proof.:D

try a 4* advance on your 259E`s,it`ll bring the power to the left a bit.
Stealer will be doing the actual dyno tune on my existing set up this next week. I'll keep you posted on results. I have very low expectations from them. My thundermax is on the way...then i plan on doing a dyno outside of harley, setting up the thundermax and doing another dyno to see how much we can improve on the #'s from their tune.

If your going to go with Gear drive cams make sure you check the crank runout. In fact I would suggest you go ahead and have the bottom end welded, trued, and balanced if you go gear drive cams if you haven't already.

If sound in your exhaust is a concern you might avoid the 2-1 exhausts. I love the sound of my Dragula 2-1, but it is far from being on the quiet side. My previous 2-2 Rush system was much quieter.

Wood TW-777 cams.
If wanting to change the pipe, D&D Fatcat w/quiet baffle.
No opinion.........fact.

Will be doing a welded trued crank and gear drives once the season ends. The season here is too short as it is. Thanks for the great ideas. Will be doing extensive research on everyones input.

Head work will be waiting till winter also. As i've learned ported and polished apparently is a term used loosely by screaming eagle lol

"porting & polishing" is a term not thrown around by too many porters for quite a while.besides branch (junk),theres no one I know of that still mirror polishes anything (I don't).anyone who`s kept up with porting technology of the part 25 years knows "polishing" adds no performance gains and on the int side actually hurts
