I just bought a Super Tuner at Tripps in Amarillo. I was on the road w/tuning issues. They told me i would have to get the software from my dealer, if i could. Is there more than one tuner available. I thought i had seen one for $250 and one for $500 on the HD website. I paid $550 for the tuner and one download? Did I get ripped off?

Who can answer these questions and where can i get the software?

what is the part number on the one that you got?

there is a 'screamin eagle street tuner' ie. sest. that will allow you to make some tuning changes but is still limited to working within epa parameters

and there is a 'screamin eagle pro super tuner' ie. sepst, which is the one that replaced the old sert. this one gives you much more latitude in tweaking your tune to be optimal (ie. not epa compliant)

Thanks Scratch, i got educated. The one I have is the Pro Race Tuner. So far I am glad I spent the extra coins for the tuner, versus getting a Stage one Download. I got the tuning I needed in Denver, and can use the module over and over, versus the one time download.
