I am going to have some motor work done on the bike, and I think I am also going to change tuners while I am at it. I currently have the PC5, and they took out the O2 sensors and put the eliminators in. I still have the O2 sensors, so I think I am going to go with the TTS Master tuner and put the O2 sensors back in when I have the motor work done.

Seems to me this is a better tuner that can adjust for a lot more variables, etc. Any feedback on this would be appreciated.

I have the TTS on my bike and love it. BUT it all depends on who is going to tune your bike. If he is not versed on how to properly tune with TTS, Then I would either find someone who is or get a different tuner that your Dyno guy is familiar with.

I have to agree with hd4cruzin. I just switched over to PC5, and one of the big reasons was my Dyno guy is very familiar with it, and he can do pretty amazing tunes with it. Nothing against TTS but you may just handicap your dyno guy.

We recommend using the tuning product the individual doing the tuning is most comfortable tuning with.

Some tuners lock the ECM. Does TTS?

No it doesn't lock it. It does tag it with data saying TTS edited it last, exactly the way SERT does.

The ECM can still be reprogrammed by another TTS or SERT, etc

Using a TTS, one could tag the ECM to make it look like a SERT did it, but that would be unethical.




Now the tuner itself is locked to the ECM and can only be used on that bike until it's reset by TTS for a fee, but it's still reusable on another bike after reset.

If you have a good local tuner that uses TTS, go for it. I would suggest you call Doc at Doc's performance tuning in Mineola, FL and see who he would recommend in your area.
