How about we do a little contest during SWV for Best in Custom, Best in Stock, and for those who don't like washing their bikes or spending money for bling, Best in Dirt and or least accessorized

Lets keep this light and fun. All attedees can participate if you like and/or vote @ SWV. Winners will receive a trophy of some sorts.

Here is my thinking for the categories, I am certainly open to suggestions too :)

Best in Custom ( must have at least three of the following )

Custom Paint
Custom Bags
21" minimum front wheel
Front and rear custom fenders
Custom handle bars
Custom exhaust

Best in Stock with a few accessories

Stock paint
Custom Front fender is acceptable as long as its stock color.
Painted inner faring is ok
Accessories chromed or powder
Wheels front or rear as long as the front is below 21"

Best in dirt and or least accessorized

You got it, the one who has the flithiest bike and or zero accessories. :)

Let me know your thoughts...

Sounds like a great idea to me. I'd like to suggest another category best sounding stereo. Not necessarily the loudest, although the contest should be conducted at a decent decibel level.Maybe we could find some Texas appropriate music like ZZ Top or Stevie Ray Vaughan and each entry take turns playing it judging witch stereo sounds best.

How about oldest Tour Glide as a category? Maybe I can get the '82 up and running by then.

If you bring an 82, I don't know if there would be a contest, but you would definitely have the "grandfather " and a lot of people admiring the bike. Remind me of this post if you bring it and I'll buy you a tank of gas. :)
