I just want to know if anyone who has did the tank lift has noted or documented the engine running any cooler?
Thanks

Guess no one who did this has upgraded their gages to include an oil temp gage :(

I really haven't noticed any real change in temps, but it has to help a little, allowing more air to flow over the top. Stop and go is still the same no difference to me. I did mine for looks, the Road Glide lines seem to match a whole lot better, it also made the seat feel tighter, almost like I am locked in, I really don't know if the bigger guys would like that or not..... you don't notice the seat as much when your feet are on the floor boards or pegs, but you do notice it at a stoplight when your feet are on the ground.
I like to tank so much, I'm going to do my Dyna Glide the same way.....

I have a kit that’s about 3 or 4 years old, I never installed it but I may now. I recently had work done to my engine and noticed the head temp is up a little, I still have to have tune adjusted, if the temp is still the same I may install the kit to see if it makes a difference.

I have the DK 2" lift, their older style that I picked up on clearance. It helped cool my 110" a bit. I like the looks and the clearance to clean the rockers. However, my Saddlemen Road Sofa fit much more loose when I lifted the rear 1", I would have to tighten my seat screw every ride. I eventually welded the oblong slot in my seat bracket so it cannot slide and now it stays tight
