Just had the thrashin riser and high bend bars installed. My bike is still in Florida and I’m in Colorado, but my buddy picked it up from the shop and he said it’s a game changer. It rides like a totally different bike. Can’t wait to ride it.

Are your highway pegs on backwards?

i did a big bear gauge relocation, a kraus top clamp so i could maintain a fork lock (not sure exactly why i wanted to do that, i never use the fork lock anyway), lucky daves risers, and zombie performance machete bars. the bars are 27" from tip to tip so they are really narrow. it took getting used to but i prefer it now.

Guess I have been lucky, I always forgot to pull the 50a fuse, several times, and never had any codes pop up, lol.
I will post up my experience, some tips, and tricks, of installing the Thrasin riser and bars when I get a little downtime. The dealer did quote me 7 hours of labor at $185.00 an hour, LMAO. They never installed this setup before, that was a big red flag for me, I was doing this job myself regardless, I always justified spending more money on my bike when I add up the HD labor I always save as a DIY Man.

My view over the bars. I'm 6-1" my saddelman seats are 2" setback. I'm more than happy with the view, I just lean a little forward if I really need to know what gear I'm in:rolleyes: I have my speed setup on my info screen, bottom left. Good to go. No need to relocate gauges, honestly, never wanted to, thats why I went with the Thrashin setup. 6.5" pullback risers, tall bend bars.

@Phatdad I’ve got them on my bars as well. One side is pretty bad. I wouldn’t say it’s super noticeable but it’s definitely annoying.

WTF Man, Same crap on my bars, I would never let that kind of work leave my shop, like I said, I left several messages and plenty of e-mails to both accounts, no reply, and it's been over a week. Funny thing is, I'm sure you got the twolanelife postcard welcoming us to their family. LMAO You should do some follow-up on those bars brother,I will reach out to them again as well, they should replace them for us. I take a lot of pride with my bikes, I don't want half-ass parts on my girl. looks like welding splatter, but no welding is needed fabbing up these bars. @LineTrash how do your bars look?

@Phatdad @KK12 Best I can tell the two issues cause the problems you guys are seeing with the bumps in the bars. Off gassing in the curing process where solvents cook out of the metal and get trapped under the powder or issues with the powder delivery caused by improper grounding or accumulation of powder in the gun/lines. The accumulated powder then gets dislodged and shot onto the metal into clumps which then cure into what you see there.

Thanks for the information. Something went south for sure, sorry guys if I sound like a broken record here, I just don't understand why Thrasin would even ship those bars out to customers.

I stopped in Moonshine again today and they had a Road Glide with their bars set up. I ain’t gonna lie it was dope. Very comfortable and well put together. If I was into that type of set up I’d go that route. About the only thing I didn’t care for about it is loosing the switch’s and there was to much branding for my liking.
