So on the way back from memphis last week, got caught in a traffic jam on the interstate. Bike overheated, and as soon as we got through it the bike pinged like hell until we got back up to speed and cool off some. Well maybe 15 miles later on I40 where TN crosses into NC I was in 6th gear kind of going up a incline when the bike stuttered 3 quick times together. Dropped to 5th a rode aways, then back to 6th. I tried my best to get it to happen again with no luck. Got home, parked it. Pulled out of garage to wash it last night. While backing back into garage I had the bike off and in neutral and it was making some kind of clicking noise with I was rolling. Kind of sounded like a baseball card between bicycle spokes. Any ideas?

Sounds like the belt was just realining (sp?) itself on the pully. I would also check the belt guard and see if it is rubbing. The belt will shift from side to side when you roll the wheel in different directions.

It ended up being the hard plastic hose that comes down from the gas tank. It must have been that way for a while because it was wore down from rubbing the belt.
