I have some Arlen Ness chrome parts IE hand grips, air intake
fork hot legs , fork sliders etc that have deep cut grooves.
I want to paint the grooves BBP like my bike. Some
of the areas I should be able to use an airbrush.
The other spots could be done by hand with a
small paint brush. How do I mix the paint for either method?
How do I prep the surfaces, what primers do I use, do I sand in between
ETC......

I took that at the bike show yesterday. one thing I noticed was the paint was chipping in a few spots. You can see they didn't prep the chrome serface. Not a mistake I want to make.

It is a different look. Complete opposite of the black/contrast cut that everyone seems to like.

You will need to sand area you want to paint to give something for paint to cling to. You can use a dremel for that purpose. It will give you a lot better control. As far as mixing, follow mfgr's recommendation. Use an etching primer.
