I have a checklist of unique things to see in my home state of Indiana. On the list today was Sisters of St. Benedict monastery. It was a gorgeous facility. An on-site brewery was an added bonus!

200 miles trot today. On pace to have 40,000 miles on this bike before it's a year old!

Man I wanted to also. Roads are a bit to white for me still. Hoping for some rain to wash it away

Send that heatwave over to the northeast! Cannot wait to get some nice weather.
We need the rain to wash away all the chemicals they use on the roads here! DOT uses Molasses in the chemicals to make it stick when it gets sprayed. If you get that stuff on your frame and motor, it takes an act of Congress to get it cleaned.

Still a few slick spots on the back roads where I live, but I'm thinking Tuesday or Wednesday I will be out. There are some nice sites and lots of nice roads here in Southern Indiana.
I love it here in Bloomington. As soon as I leave my driveway the roads are already scenic and fun. Where do you live?

SE Indiana roads are beautiful. All the hills and hollers make for a great scenic ride.
Too much crap and washouts on the backroads now to make a fun ride, tho.

Can't wait to get together with you and Steve again, Scott!
Hope @Jacksprat56 gets to ride soon, too!

@Scott7d hope to see you this spring!!!

There is some fantastic riding in that area, one of my favorite roads (450) leaves out of Bedford. Pick a direction (except for maybe north) and there are some great routes. I'd be happy to share some.

I live about 10 minutes north of Bedford on the south end of Bloomington, right on Lake Monroe.

Straight out of left field: there is a kid down here in Australia called INDYANA. She was in the news yesterday.

I wonder if her parents have any idea how the state is spelt?

Back on topic: if I ever get to FRENCH LICK I am damn sure taking a photo.

French Lick is a cool little town. NBA player Larry Bird is from there. A few casinos, good restaurants, etc. Great roads, too.
