Has anyone installed a 14 up tour pack on a 09-13 detachable mount?

I've been told it will not fit, I am actually waiting today for my 15 rack to show, bought a tour pack off a 2012 this weekend. If you find out, please let me know. My bike guy says that the 2015 mount will not raise it up enough for the bags to open, I might have to fabricate a spacer for the rack.

I installed a 2014 Tour Pak on my 2013 RCG. I had to use the 2014 detachable mount as the 2013 did not fit the Tour Pak.

You can just drill new holes in the 13' & older mount to fit the bolt hole pattern of the new TP and it will work. I didn't have a mount when I added my TP so I just bought the newer mount through PCPain. Plenty of people have used the older mount with the new style TP.

pretty sure i just watched a you tube video on this a day or 2 ago, if i find it again ill post it... the guy said the HD indicated the parts werent interchangeable but he showed that they were.
