Well, I worked all Saturday cutting holes in my new tour pak to add the rear lights. They add a lot of light to back and are definitely a safety improvement.

I did all the work on my dining room table. When I first put it back on the bike the first thing that struck me was that the smoked lense doesn't match the red lights in the fender. I don't see an option in the parts catalog for a red lense light bar (only an option for 2013 and earlier). So, now I"m not sure if I should try and find a red one somewhere or leave it as is.

What do you guys think?

Thanks

You'd have to get the OE part to have red lens. You can find take offs pretty cheap if you want the red lens.

Can you take some pictures of your wiring harness? I've been debating adding lights to my aftermarket pack and I'm pretty new to any electric work. Not sure where to start.

Bike looks too good for them to not match! Smoked looks cooler but red shows up a bit better. Your choice : )

Thanks for the feedback. Does anyone know where to get smoked tail lights for a CVO ? So far all I've found is the whole rear fender assembly :surprise:

I have a Tour Pak with the red tail light and side lights that I would be more than happy to swap if you want red. I am looking to go smoke.

Mastergunner, I got all the harley parts from Surdyke and the Namz wiring harness (goes from the bike to the harley harness) from Dennis Kirk. There's a full parts list in one of the links I posted above that I have found to be accurate.

Also the smoked lens is not really visible during the day, i put the clear red and it matches, and is as bright as my brake lights.
