I swaped my stock RG bars for for stock EG bars. I went smooth considering my limited mechanical abities until today when I filled up and tried to zero out the trip meter. It won't zero out or switch to the odometer. It still rolls miles. Anyone run into this. I hope I just disconnected the switch. I have not looked at it yet. Love the bars by the way. Fit my short arms.

Must have knocked one of the two wires loose when you made the bar swap? If not, and the switch is bad, you can buy a new switch for about $9. I used on for my cheap garage door opener so they are available. The boot on top screws on to the switch body from the top. If you look in the do it yourself section, you'll find pictures and part numbers.
