It's a lower lateral link that prevents the engine/transmission combo from moving laterally, which compresses the swingarm bushings, which causes the swingarm to move laterally, which is where "Bagger Wobble" comes from. Because you're not stiffening bushings in an attempt to stop the problem, there's no additional vibration passed on to the rider.
