Discussion Starter #1
Hi All

I have a 2018 RGS and have been considering either one of these two full exhaust systems. I am aware of the discussions out there in regards to voiding of warranties.

System one - V&H Dresser duals, 4.5" Hi-Output Slip ons, Fuel management either HD's tuner or FP3 not sure which would perform better and one of HD air breathers.

System two - Full SE High Flow Exhaust System with SE Street Cannons and HD Tuner and Breather basically a full HD system straight from the cataloge.

What I want to know, I'm 45 so not looking to be that obnoxious kid on the road as I have nothing to prove. All I'm after is to have is exhaust system that will be noticeable enough (loud enough) to those drivers out there on the road to provide me some form of safety, have a good rumble and I'm not sure if this has been an issue for anyone out there but be able to still hear the factory stereo system which for 2018 is a stage 1 fairing speaker system I believe without an amp.
Again lets put warranty aside I am aware that this may be voided which is a bit of a risk for the first two years but the way I look at it is whats the probability of a major issue with the bike.

Thanks All in advance!

V&H All The Way Over HD SE Exhaust.

I have V&H's Power Dualls, their slip-on's & their FP3 Auto Tuner and everything is fantastic.

Way better throttle response and the bike runs cooler.

The sound from the exhaust also sounds great.

A deep rumble until you punch the throttle, then the sound comes alive.

Everyone is going to give you many suggestions which is great, but V&H makes great products and everything works great with each other verse mixing and matching other companies products into one full exhaust.

Good Luck

There are tons of options out there for exhaust, I wouldn't limit yourself to just those 2.
Is it just sound that your after? Performance increase?
Take a look at FuelMoto and Fulsac also.

After you decide what you want, do yourself and your bike a favor and get it tuned by a reputable tuner. That is if warranty isn't a concern.

Take a look at this and read the comments. All bikes can gain from a quality dyno tune

I may stand alone on this one........but I am a Bassani Fan - BUT, if I had it over to do, I would go with an Indy Shop like Draggo's or Fullsac........even Fuelmoto.......but the whole Packer Fans thing just KILLS me with FM >:) (I know, Bears Suck too)

Your not alone Eddie. My tuner recommended the Drago 2 and I love it. Great power on the dyno and I think the sound is awesome.

I may stand alone but I pulled my V&H full system put it back in the box, placed it on the shelf and put the stock headers back on... With a turbo.

I do like the V&H system sound though.

I have a 2017 RGU and I have a V&H full system on mine. I started off with the High Outpit slip-on’s and just recently added the Power Duals. I really liked the sound of the HO’s and to be honest, I wasn’t even sure why I needed or wanted the headers.
To be clear, I am not one of those guys that can feel a one or two HP gain in a mod. But the bike ‘feels’ like it runs better. It ran great before, but with the Power Duals on it seems to run smoother.
Lastly, I thought all of the sound from a motor was dependent upon the mufflers so I was surprised that the headers actually improved the sound as well. They gave her a more throaty rumble.
