Does anyone here have any experience with the Vance & Hines Fuelpak?
I'm trying to decide which mapping system to get. I have a 2013 custom and am going to put a heavy breather and probably V&H Pro Pipe chrome 2 into 1. I may do a 255 cam sometime after I do the air intake and pipes.
Thanks,

I just installed the V&H Fuelpak about a month ago. My current setup is stock headers decatted, RCX slip-ons, SE Heavy breather. So far I really like it and and the bike doesn't lug at the first gear anymore and it picks up real fast. Highway is great. 6th gear for me has always been good for passing but now it really pulls away. Install was easy. disconnect stock ecm, plug in piggyback, then plug ecm back in and your done installing. Go online send an email of what components you have and they email you back in a couple of hours with your specific custom map. I really can't say anything bad about this device.

I had it on my '09 Road King, and it did the job, but I much prefer the Power Vision I got for my '13 Shark. I like that I don't have to leave it connected to the bike.

Its Ok I am going to the thundermax, so ill have one for sale with about 1000 miles on it. Only reason I an going to something else is because I am installing cams this winter. If interested PM me. It is still in the bike at this time. For my riding style it was just fine I have a Fullsak sportpipe air cleaner and slip ons and it was good for this set up. Maps easy to get too

Go with TTS or Power Vision if planing on doing cams. Fuel pack wont tune cam set ups. Spend wisely.

I had the Fuel Pak and the Throttle Pak installed along with V&H exhaust.
After about 2000miles and when I was on I-95 in 104degree temps, engine sputtered a couple of times, then went into "limp home mode". I got the codes cleared and was able to continue on to a reputable HD dealer where I had a SERT installed and dyno-tuned. Very pleased; no problems and it has ran well since then (over 20000miles so far coast to coast and back).
I spoke to V&H "Chris", at Sturgus, and was told to send the paks back to them with a letter of explanation, which I promptly did upon my return to home.
Well, they received my package (return receipt) but they never replied or sent anything back to me. So, I paid for something that didn't work but 2000miles, told to send it back (which I did), and ended up with nothing to show for the money I paid...
I thought higher of V&H and was surprised at their customer service and failure to stand by their product and then leave me in the dark...
Oh well, live and learn, I guess.

Ive had the fuelpak on my RG for 33k miles and about 20k miles on my previous superglide and I had only one issue with it. I contacted their tech support and they took care of me. Great customer service as far as im concerned. I would use it again but if you are planning on doing cams then i wouldnt recommend the fuelpak as it isnt very tunable for those types of mods.

The '09 SERG had a FuelPak on it when I got it, I was pleased with it. I soon installed a ThrottlePak and was pleased with that also, as it was a definite improvement.

The only reason that I changed, I installed the SE Stage III Pro Kit with the SEPST and the FuelPak wouldn't accommodate the kit.

If you aren't going past the 255s at stock compression, the FuelPak is a cost effective solution.

I still have the V&H FP and TP and the 255s all in good shape, PM if interested

Put 30k on my Fuel Pak with no issues, and remapped it several times when I changed parts. Put Andrews 27 cams in my buddies 06 and they had a map for that. They also have a map for his 06 when we bump it to 95". Fuel mileage on my 96 was always in the high 40's to a best of 52 with the FP.
