I know there are numerous companies that offer vent screens for our bikes but I found a company that also makes one for the center vent. They are offered powder coated in silver or gloss black. I went with the silver just to make them stand out a little. Very easy install; took less than 30 mins.

Well.... Is it a secret company or can you share the name or post a link?

Also, there is a thread on here where a member will send you the pattern via email so that you may cut your own for a LOT less than what you can buy these for. There are those that would rather just buy them and be done with it though.

I found them on eBay but their website is harleymotorcycleventscreens.com

I’m sure I could have cut my own but honestly, I was lazy and I know I never have as much free time for projects as I’d like. Hell, I’ve had all the parts to make my engine a 114 for almost 2 months and yet they’re still sitting in boxes, in the garage. Lol

I sent the company a message. Not sure if it will help but it can’t hurt to ask.

I just got an email back from the owner of the company that I purchased my set of vent screens through and he did say that they now offer the center vent screen separate from the whole set.

Here is the link for people looking for one:

Seems like a pain to take the front of the faring off to get that top screen in

I bought the same set a few months ago. Very well made. No more bugs and rocks to the forehead.

IMO, the top vent screen is the most important. That’s the one that’ll venturi bugs, rocks and debris right at your head. :)

Not at all. Sry easy to do and the company provides a video link to watch before you do it.

I am curious what purpose do the screens have?
Helps keeps bugs from being rocketed into your face while riding. Lol.

Center Vent Screen installation

The center vent screen installation by itself does not necessitate removal of the outer fairing. Remove the windshield, then pop off the upper Air Duct Assembly. Can be completed in under 10 minutes using a special template which is provided0:)

Very true. You only need to remove the outer fairing to install the side vent screens.

New to thread.... Does anyone have access to these templates?
You won't find one for the center screen. Dennis did a helluva job getting that together. I didn't watch the video at first when I went to install mine and fought with it a little. I'm sure that took him a while to get it figured out. The ones for the sides are another story. There's a different thread on here with people that will email you a template for those.
