I finally got around to installing the Sancho's Wings a couple of weekends ago, and WOW do they make a difference! They eliminated the buffeting that I used to get at head level. I believe the main cause of this was wind coming from around the bottom of my front fairing around the engine guard, hitting me in the chest and head, then meeting up with air coming over the top of my windshield and creating turbulence. That's all gone now! Here are a few pics of the finished product...

I do have the HD deflectors also. I didn't really notice much difference with those, but others say they have. There was a noticable lack of wind that used to hit me square in the chest after I put the wings on though! Huge difference even with the HD Windsplitter windshield, which I don't think works very well.

How stable are they in the wind, just came though some 35 to 40 MPH gusts; worried they might tear off.
Yesterday I rode 150 miles round trip on a South Texas winding road. The wind was out of the South gusting to 40 mph and I reached speeds up to 90 mph into a direct head wind but doing 70 most of the time. I rode North, West and South in those conditions. Out of the 150 miles I had a tailwind for about 25 miles out of the 150. I have the permanent mounted on my left side and the removable on my right side. Both Wings held solid and didn't budge. Where I live winds that high are normal. The road I was on you could ride 25 miles without even seeing a building. Flat South Texas ranch land with no trees or buildings to block the wind.

Wings

I had my second ride with my Sanchos Wings today and I love them! My passenger noticed a difference as well, which is good. Sanchos was GREAT to deal with; even replaced a wing that I broke.
