I designed and built a way to keep my Tour Pak, Back Rest and Luggage Rack from kicking around the garage. I didn't like the other ones on the market due to how far they stick off the wall when not being used. The first round that I made where out of 1/2 Seaboard, which is a non-corrosive plastic commonly used on boats. They work really well and my buddies and I all use them, plus sold a few online, but they were labor intensive to build. So I did a run of Round 2, which are 1/8 inch aluminum, powder coated. I am selling them on eBay under "Accessories Rack for Harley Roadglide Streetglide etc".

All of the feedback I am getting is positive and I am thinking up a way to make a modular shelf for boots or helmets or whatever. I haven't had a chance to get my hands on the '15 models, but these will work for all Harley detachables up to 2013. Check it out...

Thats really sharp, nice work. I've been thinking about doing something like that for my tourpack, right now it sits on my workbench and gets in the way. Course all I need is a rack to hold the tourpack itself.

Here's his auction....
Ahhh, an advertisement after all. Should have noticed from the low post count!

Haha!

Regardless, a nice offering. I may actually consider it as I have my backrest and luggage rack sitting on a shelve 90% of the time. Will come in handy when I finally get my tourpak someday...

Yeah, thanks for all the good feedback. I didn't want to be a total douche and say, "hey guys, I'm new her. Buy my shit" Instead I wanted to let you know that I am making them and that they work, and just mention that I am selling them. I do this whenever I buy a new bike; Step 1: find the forum to see what guys are doing to theirs. Step 2: modify to fit and if I end up designing parts that others can use too, let em know.
Trying to not come across as a newbie thats only here to sell shit

I'll stick with mine which putts everything higher up. Have enough scratches on my cars from kids bicycles and such. But nice work though.

Thanks for the feedback, Guys!

I sold one to a buddy with a FatBoy and the mounting pins are in different locations than the bigger bikes, so... good to know. I'll adjust on the next run!

I've been looking for something like that. I have a 1 car garage so I'm limited on space and I think that will work perfect for me

I would buy one for the 2015 chopped pack. do you make one for the tour pack only?
I havent gotten my hands on a '15 bike yet, so I cannot say whether my rack will work with your chopped pak. Can you tell me what the center to center dimensions are on the mounting pins on your bike?

As for making one for just a Pak, I gotta start selling some of the ones i have money in before I dream of expanding the line!!! hahaha! You're not the first to ask though, so its probably in the cards.

His 2015 chopped TP will fit on the '09-'13 so what you already have will work for him.

the rushmore and 09-up rear struts are the same, if not mistaken

one point: some mount to the struts directly, as in rigid, ultra setup ( myself, using a 2014 TP mount on a 2010 bike and chopped ))

and I have a FBI sissy bar mount, which also uses factory holes

and some mount to the 4 point docking kit

in case you hadn't thought of that, and obviously the 98-08, older geometry

organizing my garage is almost pointless, until I sell something, like the idea of thinking outside the box

Struts on the bikes aren't the same. The struts changed 2014 & up so the docking hardware on the bike is different but '09 & up accessories all fit '09-'13 docking hardware or '14 & up docking hardware.

it sounds like the frame is the same

and that's what I'm mounting to

I need to see a new one up close
