This is what 2000$ buys you from DNA ( junk Chinese made wheels With no name bearings and poor welds/chrome/dirt under chrome/ sharp rim edges. I immediately notified DNA on dec20/22 of all these issues as soon as I opened both boxes. It's now Jan 21/23 and I'm still completely in the dark about getting any refund ( I don't want a replacement product). I have sent them numerous emails to their shipping and warranty department and have managed to talk to Jerry ( who claimed he tried to contact me) and Jan 7th claimed he knew nothing about my situation when he was notified of the defects immediately. Luckily I notified my Credit card company immediately after it happened and filed a dispute , as DNA refuses to address this situation. I will continue to let everyone I know that rides what a shady company they are and how all their products are from China and made out to look like they were USA made. I can find their exact rotors and pulleys for sale on Amazon and under company names like drag speciality. The only reason I decided to take a chance buying their junk is because 2 local bike shops said they don't have those problems with their products anymore ( they were just trying to make a sale after all) After reading the hundreds of negative reviews that all appeared to be from 2015 and sooner I was still stupid enough to take the Chance on them and I deeply regret it as I am trying to sell my heritage because I just bought a road glide.

I told them in Dec. that I will keep posting and updating on all the forums , Facebook pages and social media's as to how they choose to handle this situation....they honestly didn't seem to care. I messaged mototechs as they have an ad for free tires with their mammoth spoke DNA package and a guy there I was talking explaining the situation on messenger had DNA calling me 10 minutes later ( it was January 12 or 13 by then after Jerry their manager decided to ghost me). The lady from DNA jusy admitted that it's still up in the air as to what they wanted to do and Jerry was to make the decision still. I told them to send a return label and take their product back. That was almost 2 weeks ago. My credit card company told me to let them handle it and it may take a few more months but eventually they'll refund me and make them take their wheels back. I'm guessing they don't want to eat the 300usd shipping cost to get this scrap metal back

Man that sucks dude, let the credit card sort it out and yeah like Mike U said file report with the BBB, I almost bought a set of spokes for my Dyna two years ago and a local Indy parts shop by me locally told me stay away , he will never recommend or deal with them again , total garbage, that sealed the deal for me , I hate people who are involved in dishonest biz , taking people's hard earned money and sending you some ching chow garbage. Good luck man.

Some large US parts suppliers began selling Asian parts in the 90s.
It's way out of hand - but par for the course . Japan / Korea have some standard of metallurgical quality.
China defrauds alloy purchase contracts as core business. Whatever is shown, promoted, offered - differs substantially from what is delivered. My working career was nuclear energy - and N stamp quality materials are no joke and can represent substantial consequence if bought and installed.
Brakes / Wheels / Bearings / Tires - buy quality and pay the money. Best to be able to stop safely.
A bike not starting never killed anybody - so buy that starter if you must.

Stay away from sinister as there's lots of bad products and even more problems with customer relations when there's a problem. I have spent a few months doing research on wheels and it seems like many people were lucky getting good big spoke wheels from DNA/Sinister, but found more pissed off people out there that got bad wheels. I haven't seen anyone with a set of rims as bad as the ones I've received ( pics don't do them justice). Tarazon / ultima wheels advertise themselves as Offshore brands up front , unlike these other guys that claim to build them and actually seem to have less problems and better customer service if problems arise. I think I will just skip the big spoke wheels entirely now as I don't have 5000$ c.a.d. to spend on a quality handmade set from HD WHEELS.COM. I'm considering looking to buy some take offs from a more expensive model RG ad I have the poor man's base model lol.

……. I'm considering looking to buy some take offs from a more expensive model RG ad I have the poor man's base model lol.
I just put on Enforcer take-off wheels purchased off eBay. Got the wheels, front rotors, both tires, and bearings for $1,150 shipped. Seller claimed they were off a 2018 SG with 1500 miles before the owner did a big wheel conversion. I was skeptical, but once they arrived yes the tires are new as were the bearings…… I still think the seller (an Indy shop in Pennsylvania) was partially full of shit because they were advertised as ABS ready with the correct bearings, ended up the rear had the correct ABS bearing, the front did not. So that tells me they were a mis-matched set….. I ended up swapping out the front to the correct ABS bearing, $50 later and all is good. Check out my thread for more details if ABS is applicable to your bike.

I still think eBay is a great alternative for those of us on a budget. My lesson learned is you have to ask the right questions, and ask for proof (photos) to confirm. Also read the seller reviews and feedback on eBay to make sure you’re not buying from a pirate…..

So a little update . I sold my heritage the other day as I bought a 2021 Road Glide. I STILL have not heard anything back from DNA and tried calling my credit card company to get an update about my situation. Unfortunately nobody in that department was there or able to answer anything about the investigation. I'm thinking about buying a single 21" big spoke from a fairly local guy in Edmonton that sells them for around 600$. At least I know what I'm buying up front and will be able to see it in person unlike the 2000$ DNA rims they show online that look perfect. Its crazy that DNA can buy thousands of wheels for 50$ a wheel then Stamp their company name into them before they're shipped to the U.S. and resold for 10X the cost with 0 quality control or concern for people's safety just to save a few bucks. I'm so pissed that i may give up on that style of a wheel and get a set of take offs off of someone's RG ST instead of going to a big spoke ( they might be lighter than the enforcers and definitely lighter thana big spoke... feeling defeated / Unsure

As of today my credit card company is going to be giving me a temporary refund until DNA actually gets back to them as they have 45 days to answer. I might have to take the rims to a third party shop to confirm the all the issues before I ship them. Hopefully more and more people Comment to help spread the awareness of this shady company. DNA = Definitely Not American made.

For anyone considering buying fat spoke rims or products from DNA , do not waste your time. If your willing to take the Chance like I did , use a credit card so you can dispute the charges when u open up the boxes and see this shit. My Chinese rims came stamped with their company name and had dirt under the chrome, huge sanding marks visible through the chrome and sharp edges where the tires sidewall contacts the rim. The seams where the rims are welded together are terrible welds and you can feel a 1mm imperfection at the seam. They come with no name cheap as possibly made bearings that were the wrong size but had a smaller size spacer. There's also flat spots on the rims where they look like they were clamped in a vise. It's been 9 weeks and the company has done nothing to remedy this 2200$ c.a.d. colossal waste of money / will never return my calls or emails. I spoke to some jerk that is supposed to be a manager that had / was supposed to correct this major fuck up (This was 4 weeks after I got the rims/immediately I notified them ) They emailed Me claiming that guy was calling me and I have had 0 calls from him and it took me another 4 days of calling to get him on the phone and he played stupid. I emailed him all the pictures and conversations to the people at their complaints / warranty desk. The last thing I heard back was the shipping department asked me to pay 300usd to ship Their scrap back so they can then assess the rims and make a decision to replace them with another junk Chinese set. I have since sold the bike and I'm already taking a bath on the 700$ of tires that won't fit my new Road Glide. DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO BUYING ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS . They are all the same Chinese made junk that you see other big wholesalers selling on eBay or Amazon except DNA charges a premium because they claim their products and wheels are made IN house. NOTHING LIKE FALSE ADVERTISING to take advantage of people wanting to support a American made product when in fact its not made here....just repackaged.
