I'm as on the edge of my seat as everyone else. I think they're real, but only time will tell. The images from the original Instagram post looked a lot more convincing (less photoshopped) than the ones posted in this thread so I was less skeptical than most from the jump, but I can definitely see why there's doubt.

The 121 comes from the new 4 5/8" stroke flywheels, combined with the 4.075 standard CVO bore size. That way they can use the 135 engine in a KOTB series legally, because the parts come from a production motorcycle.
Rules were made to be interpreted, changes made to take advantage of those interpretations.

But the new 121 is said to have variable valve timing. The 135 engine does not have that.
