I hope they are customs because that fairing is full on fugly! I'm not looking to trade in my 19 RG, but if I did it would have been for a CVO, but not if that nastiness is the new CVO.
The 135 will be a drop on for these new CVOs, so those engines will have VVT.But the new 121 is said to have variable valve timing. The 135 engine does not have that.
Where’d they move the battery to then. Cuase the coil is in front of the battery. This one video a guy points out that the coik packs are moved to the side of the bike. His theory is it now has a mono shock

My 19 Heritage had a side coil and mono shock. Battery was accessed from the right sideWhere’d they move the battery to then. Cuase the coil is in front of the battery.
They would have to do a ton of reworking to make that happen unless they completely reversed the frame. I mean they’re stuff under both side covers as it is. Looks like they just moved it the the left side like the softails. My 19 Heritage had a side coil and mono shock. Battery was accessed from the right side

It’s the seat. I’m running a CVO seat when I have the Tour Pak on and it’s kinda tall. It’s basically a Harley Hammock with a nicer cover.Demo Days. This was fun. Very quiet but the ride did seem very smooth. Taller than my 16 RGU.

Sometimes I really do miss that Big Twin/Twin Cam sound.....M8s just can't produce the same note.....you get used to it after a while and tone comes on differently......but the sound of a TC she'll never beVery quiet but the ride did seem very smooth. Taller than my 16 RGU.
Hard to imagine a CVO without stretched bags. Just doesn’t look right to me.Demo Days. This was fun. Very quiet but the ride did seem very smooth. Taller than my 16 RGU.

They didn't put them on the CVO Ultras/Limiteds, just the non TP models. There's been people that have had it down for theirs including myself on my '15.Hard to imagine a CVO without stretched bags. Just doesn’t look right to me.
In ‘17 they only had the stretched bags on CVOs. In ‘18 they added them to the Specials. They didn't put them on the Ultras/Limiteds, just the non TP models. There's been people that have had it down for theirs including myself on my '15.
I edited my post to reflect that only the non Ultras in the CVO lineup got the stretched bags. That still holds true today. They don't put the stretched bags on the CVO ultras/Limiteds ( or the non CVO Ultras/Limiteds either.)In ‘17 they only had the stretched bags on CVOs. In ‘18 they added them to the Specials.
If I would have kept my ‘16 RGU I would have eventually added the stretched bags if they became available. To my eye the stretched bags look nicer from the side and rear.
i was thinking the same exact thing. The 121 on the plate converts to about 1982 cc. The heads and jugs look more round than the M8. The tank looks like it’s coming from the softail lineup, with the console on it. transmission cover is different, and the coil looks like it came right off the evolution motor. Frame is among shock, new design comparable to the existing softail frame.Sure looks like a radiator hanging off the front, the jugs have minimal finning compared to current touring models .....this is probably wishful thinking on my part, but to me it looks like it could be a new touring bike built around the Revolution Max water-cooled engine - which would be the bike I'd been waiting on for about 4 years now. Take a look at the rocker box covers, the general shape of the jugs, etc. and it sure resembles the Rev Max engine to my eyes. They've got to amortize the huge expense of the new engine/platform over a model that will create much higher sales volume than what they've done with that engine so far. Plus, they aren't going to meet Euro air standards with their current touring engines for much longer.
Look at the robotic sleds the bikes are riding on - this is definitely not an aftermarket setting, it's factory for sure. This could be the "big deal" that us touring riders have been waiting for. My money is on it being a new touring bike featuring a 1250 cc version of the Rev Max with real suspension!
Since no one else has speculated about it being that, you all owe me $1.00 if I'm right. If about 20,000 of you mail me a dollar, I might be able to buy one! LOL
I'd bet hard money against it, Mike. That's a factory setting - whether it's Harley's factory or not is anyone's guess.
Fins are there for looks. She is LC.No it's air cooled because it still has fins on the jugs
