I am doing the stage one upgrade.I am thinking going ahead with a cam at rhe same time will save some cheese so not having to do 2 different dyno times

I'm running the S&S 570G, but I've had head work, and am running slightly higher than stock compression.

I have a buddy who has installed a SE254E cams in his 103 Triglide. The engine has no other internal mods besides cam bearings and hes reporting the increase in torque is great.

SE 254e best mod to date. I know there are more agressive cams out there, but warranty and piece of mind were my deciding factors. No regrets.

Cams

Andrews 26H in my 96" - wanted to stay away from head work and compression issues until I am ready for big bore. I am very happy with the results.

I'm running SE254E cam's again not the most aggressive cam out there, but had them installed free of charge. Due to a warr. issue i had the the cams, all gaskets and hardware, pushrods installed free of charge. I'm happy with the power gain over the entire rpm band, no loss anywhere. Some large cam's make you loose bottome end or high torque cams make you loose top end, the 254e's are mild and able to raise power over all the areas. If I were to pay for cam's I'd def. run the 222, 555, or 777's and be more happy with those, but again got mine for free and happy with them! :D

Andrews 48 in an otherwise stage 1 96" fire breathing monster.

They work good, anything but stock is an improvement so don't bust yourself up thinking about it. IMHO Harley's need more torque than HP, stick with that idea and you will be fine.
