She's Happy runs cooler, sounds better, more responsive and fuel mileage is better..
That's what I'm looking forward to, this bone stock stuff sucks, friggin' warranty restrictions. I want to get a few miles on mine before risking the warranty.

10" KST Renegade bars w/Avon Memory foam grips. The stock bars felt like riding a tricycle. New seat is on the way.

The Mustang deluxe super touring showed up today. Just sitting on it, feels much better. It doesn't contact the tank and side panels. Buffed out where the stock seat was rubbing. The front is narrower , so no digging into your thighs. Never been dissappointed with Mustang seats. Vehicle Motor vehicle Motorcycle accessories Car Fender

Put some vivid black hinge covers on my bags. Also got my blue inserts in to match some other blue stuff on my bike.

See what you started, now your going to need a few more blue accents. This is how HD stays alive, the on going personalization of our bikes. It's like a disease that bleeds our bank accounts.

Removed the fork reflectors which cleans it up and installed a Freedom 12" sport dark tint windshield(victim of this site). Looks better than stock and much more effective!

I added a set of "Hippo Hands" last week. Wow! No need to add heated grips as these things keep the wind and rain off your hands and protect the top of you fingers from wind chill. Rode a couple of days in the low 30's with no numbness or pain in the fingers and then this week the weather warmed into the 50's so I can pop the "Hippo Hands" off with one strap and stow them in my saddle bags. Best piece of winter riding kit I've purchased.
Their site shows a cruiser model coming soon.

Erie HD? Should've waited for rain washed clean roads, the salt works it's way into the tightest spots.

Also installed an XM module the other week on my 2018 RGS. Let the chrome cash build up and black saddle bag guards will be next.

They work fantastic in the rain! I literally live in a rain forest and these tires work great in all conditions, and I ride in the pouring rain all the time. You don't feel tar snakes or ridges with these tires and they have given me decent mileage thus far - but I would buy them regardless of mileage, as they just stick and there is no price in my mind for going cheap on tires, brakes, or suspension.
Same here, been using Avon Venom's(predecessor to the Cobra) for years. They really made a difference in handling on my '03 Wide Glide, more responsive, also more quiet. I'll put the new Cobra Chrome on when the time comes. Never cared for stock Dunlop's, especially when the roads first get wet, broke traction easily.

Picked up another air filter cover and had someone local paint it to match. A little different to make it mine.

Still just piddling around. Finished off the breather lines with some nice 360 crimp clamps.

Clean install! Did you run them to a krank vent check valve? Have one on my '03 Wide Glide, seems to work good, keeping negative pressure in crankcase. Probably do the same on RGS when I install the VO2 naked air cleaner.

Long story short, my wife’s headlight glass is cracked, looks like tempered glass about to shatter. We’ve been debating on getting an new OEM, finding a used one, Custom Dynamics, or something different. She wanted original OEM until I found something different. I put it on my bike and was going to put my light on her bike. Now I have to put one on her bike, lol. View attachment 412907 View attachment 412908 View attachment 412909 View attachment 412910

Let the chrome cash build up and picked up black rear saddle bag guards today. For that just in case protection. Plus, I like the extra color contrast.

5000mi maintenance, switched over to Mobil 20w50 in the engine/primary and 75w140 gear oil in the transmission. Went to remove the drain plugs, only to discover there was no torque to break(all 3). Also, excess teflon tape bunched up by the o-ring. Nice thing to find from the initial 1000mi. (included)service from the dealer. This is why I do my own maintenance. Not sure if HD recommends teflon tape on the threads, but definitely an excessive amount used. Don't see a need, that's what the o-ring is for, unless they're having seizing issues. I'll mention this discovery to the dealer in a few weeks during inspection and coolflow fan activation, and see what they have to say.
