That’s Egg-zactly what I said when I sold my '95 Road King.

Then I sold my 2020 FLHX, and four months later there’s a 2022 FLTXRS in my garage.

Removed the passenger pegs since I ride solo exclusively, and will repurpose them as highway pegs.

Installed a Kuryakyn extended rear brake lever this morning. Put one on my last bike too.

Rode down Old US 1 between New Hill and Moncure NC on the way to breakfast in Colon NC. Yes, Colon.

That stretch of road is arguably the bumpiest stretch of “highway” in NC. Holy crap. It turned the contents of my saddlebags into an omelette.

I immediately ordered a set of Ohlins rear shocks when I got home.

Installed heated grips, Ohlins rear shocks, and a new windshield today, all while playing junior assistant babysitter for the toddler grand young-un.

Uploaded a Fuel Moto customer stage 1 tune using the new Power Vision 4. F the remaining warranty.

I did the same thing after a year on a 2020. Would do it again if I needed to on my latest ride.

Let my friend ride the new FLT so I could ride his evo Road King that I sold him this summer.
A 700 lb bike is just a joy to ride. It’s like riding a dirt bike compared to current FLH/FLTs.

I bought it. Came over from an Ultra Ltd. Never thought I would convert, but here I am. 22 ST. Bad pic, but it's raining out. Only thing I'm not loving is the Heavy Breather. Interferes with my right leg braking. Already extended floorboards and put a SoftBrake +1W. Helps a little, but a Ventilator might be in my future.

I ran one of these extended brake pedal pads with a Street Glide 107. That air cleaner got in my way too.

Dialed in my Madstad windshield installed last week. I can’t say it is leaps and bounds better than the 14” Freedom Shields Sport touring (versus the wider touring) wind shield I bought a few weeks earlier, but it does smooth out the wind incrementally better, and I do like the adjustability for a long, buggy, or wet ride.

I’m a solo rider exclusively, so I don't have quite the need to manage the wind as much as two up riders do.

I looked from Atlanta to Miami for about 3 months for this bike and I’d say he was right… for a little while at least. Lol
Finally gave up and was calling on a black and blacked out special when the dealer told me that the only new RGS was Reef/Vivid!! Needless to say, I bee-lined 1.5hrs there and rode it home in the rain.

Mine was traded to a dealer an hour away with 1800 miles on it for an ST. I saw it on-line the day after they traded for it. Drove the next morning and bought it.

Always good finding them for older bikes. I was on a mission earlier this year for "1995 Touring” (for a Road King). Found it for $50 in some obscure on-line used book seller.

Well, a new one from the dealer is around $140 plus tax, $150. Just bought a 2022 FSM

Or $199 on Ebay for new one,

so I would have paid $120 for yours used if I was looking.

Got the Torque Monster dbReducer baffles in from Khrome Werks. They are slightly louder than stock, but don’t have the lispy, annoying cackle on decell that the stock pipes had both when new, and after I punched the back of them out, which just made the lisp worse.

The louder, louvered Torque Monster baffles are backordered and should be in after the end of the month.

I was surprised they were chromed, when there’s already rust inside my left slip-on near the end cap from condensation. I installed the slip-ons 2-3 days ago.

Mine will just be 10”, which is just a couple of inches taller for comfort. I’m jazzed about the adjustabiliy. And that they are 1 1/2 diameter which should make wiring easy peasy.
