What did you do to your Road Glide Today?

I've seen these threads on other forums, and they can go on forever. Just some place to post what you might have done in any particular day.

I'll start with this past weekend. I went out Sunday morning intending to ride down the road, any road. When the first 40mph gust of wind hit me, I changed my mind and headed over to Iron Pony instead. It being early Sunday, and the service dept was open, I decided to get the new tires I was needing. So, a few dollars later I ended up with two new Dunlop American Elites and new pads on the front brakes. They were out of the Metzler ME880's, but these are new model Dunlops, and it appears they only make two sizes so far, both just happen to fit my bike. Web site says more sizes coming in 2011. Only have about 300 miles on them, but so far they seem to be good tires. Holds the wind well :D (Sunday was VERY windy, almost got blown over getting off the bike)

Next up, Progressive 940's are on the way.

I bought it. Came over from an Ultra Ltd. Never thought I would convert, but here I am. 22 ST. Bad pic, but it's raining out. Only thing I'm not loving is the Heavy Breather. Interferes with my right leg braking. Already extended floorboards and put a SoftBrake +1W. Helps a little, but a Ventilator might be in my future.

Have my bike about 2 weeks. Extended floorboards, softbrake, Klockwerks 14", canned the Heavy Breather for the Ventilator, new grips, put my old Corbin seat on, passenger pegs, Oh, and I rode it.

Installed HD oil cooler fan. Was a little bit of a bitch but finally got it in. Thundermax looks to be an easier install.

Couldn't stand the Heavy Breather that the ST comes with. At 6'3" my leg came in constant with it. Changed over to the Ventilator and finally found a 117 badge for it.

Replaced the cig/accessory port with a dual USB port. Installed the HD Oil Cooler fan. Now have to get it flashed.
Yeah. I used a step bit by hand. Had to modify the lock ring a little to get it tight. Had to clip the fingers off the ring.

I want to remove mine but afraid to mar the finish under them. How did you do yours and any issues afterwards?
My fork reflectors just pulled off easy. You can always use fishing braid and saw back and forth. I did the crappy reflectors on my ST saddlebags like that. Didn't mar the finish.
Can I ask what would you use usb-c for ?

I use it to power my fork mounted GoPro, but it's also nice to have options.
Don't think so. Think it's either on or off. Just put it in yesterday and made sure it worked. I can check later.
This is why i asked. A lot of the ones that have an on/off button say this....and i don't want to have to keep turning it back on everytime I start the bike.

Yeah it shuts off every time. No biggie. I'm gonna have to lift the cover to plug in anyway. Not like I'm gonna leave something plugged in when I leave the bike.

Oooh, I like that. I went with the Ventilator air cleaner. That stock ST intake made it almost impossible for me to ride the bike comfortably.
Just did this today. Can't wait to see how much faster the bike is.😄
