After getting booted by the spouse in SC. I had the RG in an 25' enclosed trailer in the Ozarks along with my tools, guns safes...yadi yadi...

Where I landed I couldn't get it in or out while the ground was wet.

I said fuck it and bought it a 2 car extended insulated garage, that came with a house, 2 acres, a dock, and a pond... All for the Glide.

Oh, no more gravelish/dirt road....

man loves his bike.

now to please the dog

After a fellow member’s doc’s took part in Pres. Trumps economy stimulus efforts, I picked up these bag guards up from him. Thanks John... Had em for a good bit now, been homeless and traveling. Finally got my ride into his new garage.

Also threw on the derby cover (posted elsewhere).

Nice to be out of an enclosed trailer and gravel roads... (by choice.)

Those things look killer. I will be getting a set for the new bike. Possibly the new sissy bar. Glad you're liking them.
Hell yea. Your disclaimer/warning didn't do any good... a couple shin dings. They rock, solid. Im thinking or ordering some bars and do heated grips, along with my moto-lights this winter. Thank again John.

After getting ready to put on motolights, F47 bars, heated grips, switch cluster, F47 engine guard, I jacked up the tumblers on hour one a couple months back. Couldn’t unfuck it all this time.....

So yesterday. I dropped the glide at the dealer. They kinda said the same thing you’ll said, your not the first idiot to do that......

Well, I started last year and dicked it up on the first day with the tumblers on the main switch. After a couple months for working with them, I loaded it and took it to Harley.

this year..
Moto lights. Brushed aluminum LED amber.
Accessory switch pack.
Engine guard.
Bars.
Heated grips...

today. Stuck on heated grips.

cheers

Called to order the SE Ventilator air cleaner. Was told they have in stock and my S&S Grand Nationals are in...
I’ll get those tomorrow in Sedalia.

Now I gotta do some site reading on the Power Vision , see if that’s the path to venture.

How do they sound? Wondering if it's a cross between the MK45's and Grand Nationals?
I can’t give you a comparo for the MK or the Grands. From what I’ve read they’re in there.
For me, I’m impressed. It’s the nice mellow yet robust tune you get at idle and a throttle boom. My past slipping didn’t a achieve that. Granted my last glide had super traps with headers.
they sound cool for a stock setup.

while you're waiting for them to arrive (won't take long), do you have the 12mm long hex bit socket and 3/4 inch (19mm) hex bit socket? I ended up having to take them to the dealer for installation cause I couldn't find the tools in a timely enough manner. but with the forks off, install was reasonable.
I’m solid on the 3/4... think I’m only good up to 10mm for deep. I’ll verify and get it taken care of.

Thanks bro. I appreciate the heads up

if the standard12mm 2” deep will work I’m golden.

Back is easy, front a bit more specialized so I wussed out and had the dealer install the forks. You’re gonna love it. Takes a little for my front end to “break in” ride and handles so much better.

2'' may be just a tad short. i've heard 3'' is the magic number. i should have measured the distance when i had my forks off, but since i didn't have one, nor did anyone else, i just didn't think of it.

waiting to hear after you get yours in.
Righton. Unfortunately I have some time before install so the wait will be a few, unless I get free over the weekend. Ive had my annual road trip out west planned for a bit to Boise, AZ.. and what ever pops up. I wanted those in hand for when I get back. I'll be gone about a month .. ish... family. It use to be on the bike, then the spouse decided she didn't like watching the dog.
I'll see if i can order a 3" 12mm, online and have it on hand.

I have a few other things planned as well.

Thanks again.

Called FM, ordered the PV, woods 22x cam, and the jackpot 2-1-2 stainless, to sit between the S&S GNX slipons and the S/E Ventilator.

been reading a while about this as it’s the first time I’ll crack the block of any bike I’ve owned, so I asked what else. I had tony on the line. He mentioned the tappets and upgrading the oil pump.

I had ordered the tappets, but the oil pump will have to wait to the next hotel.
