What did you do to your Road Glide Today?

I've seen these threads on other forums, and they can go on forever. Just some place to post what you might have done in any particular day.

I'll start with this past weekend. I went out Sunday morning intending to ride down the road, any road. When the first 40mph gust of wind hit me, I changed my mind and headed over to Iron Pony instead. It being early Sunday, and the service dept was open, I decided to get the new tires I was needing. So, a few dollars later I ended up with two new Dunlop American Elites and new pads on the front brakes. They were out of the Metzler ME880's, but these are new model Dunlops, and it appears they only make two sizes so far, both just happen to fit my bike. Web site says more sizes coming in 2011. Only have about 300 miles on them, but so far they seem to be good tires. Holds the wind well :D (Sunday was VERY windy, almost got blown over getting off the bike)

Next up, Progressive 940's are on the way.

I rode 160 plus miles today. The weather in Tulsa today was 72 with a little wind. I think we still have a few more weeks of riding left. We will see.
Rode mine for the third day in a row.
Dang this Florida weather.
If it cools down a bit I might have to
take the day off and clean it.
Naaaaaahhhhhhh.
took the seat off so I can send it to MCC have an appointment on the 17th
Bedding her down for the winter.

I put fuel stabilizer in the tank. Sad day!
Rode about 200 miles on a ride to help stock the local food shelves
OK, installed the four point docking system for the quick detach tour pack setup!

Let's hustle up and get that sucker to me MoCo!

Now I'm gonna shower up and ride. Picked her up Friday, and worked all weekend. Gonna be close to 70 here today, time to add to that meager 79 miles I have on her saince I'm off for the next three days!

Love da yellow ! The chrome brackets alone make it look good.
I rode it!! Time is getting short and this may have been it for the year. :(

Nothing yet, but I did get a UPS package from Neano62 with a pair of Hawg Wired DX Spekers in it. I'm going to modify the rear speaker pods to allow these larger speakers to work. As I get into the project, I will post some pic's.

Thanks Neano62 for the fast shipping. Sorry the Bengals lost this weekend.
Installed a new battery tender, removed the seat strap and mounts. Then did the black Heritage bars with black levers, black mirrors, and black grips. Much better ride now.
Installed new grips! And rode some more miles to QC em!

That's a milled fuel door cover. It's made by Performance Machine. I think it compliments the console pretty well, which is just lucky! lol

One of the many take off parts from my 2009 FLHTCU! I just got it in September at Ocean City MD bike week.

If you'd like a better pic, let me know. I really lliked it when I saw it. One of those things you kind of have to see in person.

Here is the PM site link.

Oh, and I dropped my spare set of stock levers from my 2009 off at the powdercoaters to have em done up in black!

Now I need to get my black bars and mirrors!
Wires

Thought it be cool to put S.E ignition wires on simple right? wrong ! Had to remove seat, console and then gas tank. F--k me!!! All for the love of orange.

OK, one more thing for the day, a horn cover that I took off my EG. The dealer told me it was letting in too much water, and killing my horn. never really bought into that, but took it off anyway. Just found it cleaning up some stuff in the garage, and decided to put it on this bike! Pardon the three views, just bored! lol

OK, not real techie stuff, but its all about the little things too. Wife got me the following for our 19th anniversary: Shop manual, pump for shocks, covers for both bikes, wind deflectors, pop up gas button.. (I got her a leather jacket and HD earrings). Installed the gas cap pop up and wind deflectors (damn, had to ggole to figure out how..DUH) Tested cover fit..Its the wally world $20 cover (bikes in garage, so just dust cover) FITS LIKE A GLOVE..not bad for $20.

Added battery tender connector on Sunday (After a nice ride)

Off to research cams, winter's coming, need a project. Maybe powder coat engine guards to match lowers.
Put on Wheeldock Easylift center stand. Took about 10 minutes. Now bike takes up less room in garage
