What did you do to your Road Glide Today?

I've seen these threads on other forums, and they can go on forever. Just some place to post what you might have done in any particular day.

I'll start with this past weekend. I went out Sunday morning intending to ride down the road, any road. When the first 40mph gust of wind hit me, I changed my mind and headed over to Iron Pony instead. It being early Sunday, and the service dept was open, I decided to get the new tires I was needing. So, a few dollars later I ended up with two new Dunlop American Elites and new pads on the front brakes. They were out of the Metzler ME880's, but these are new model Dunlops, and it appears they only make two sizes so far, both just happen to fit my bike. Web site says more sizes coming in 2011. Only have about 300 miles on them, but so far they seem to be good tires. Holds the wind well :D (Sunday was VERY windy, almost got blown over getting off the bike)

Next up, Progressive 940's are on the way.

Went out and stared at the empty stall in the garage where she normally sits, she's in the shop getting manual compression releases installed to make the 107 a little easier starting when hot.
Filled up her tank and rode al day

Washed & detailed the bike, then installed the Cee Baileys well nuts & X-trim rubber strip on the bike. Been running the Madstad for over 2 1/2 years now.

Been out riding twice already today in 75 degree temps, ya gotta love Florida…I'm not being an ass and rubbing it in for those of you with winter still hanging on, well maybe just a little :)
Removed my Rockford Fosgate Speakers & replaced them with the Hawg Wired ZX654-100 Componet Speakers.
Got the CVO back the other day, added the new sissy bar that fits with the Road Zeppelin seat & added rider beads to the seat (wife now happy). Added the Brukus Kick Shoe to the jiffy stand. Added the Cee Baileys protective shield for the daymakers.
After being in hospital for 4 days I feel pretty good. At least what I did didn't trigger another episode with my heart…
I went out and killed about a 1000 love bugs and didn't even put a dent in their population. Two months out of the year I really dislike Florida…

Installed a new spring on the Jiffy stand & detailed it.
It was black so I guess it was the stock spring, they only had one spring in stock anyways.

Just started my install of power duals for my 2009. Not the best with a wrench, hope to be done in a few hours. Any tips or tricks to know about

Just got mine from the Brown Truck yesterday along with the HO Slipons. Guess I need to think about installing also...

Just added this Custom Dynamics mini-beast air horn to CVO yesterday. The HD air horn that was on it was a piece of krap. This baby puts out a 136db blast that makes sure the asshats in cages notice you.

Haven't seen that before.

I'm digging that for sure.

Do you know if that is available in all black?

Very Cool & Looks Great On Your Biike.

Swomack

Looks like it comes in chrome or contrast cut like the one I put on.

Rode it, then started hearing a banging noise coming from the primary. Think it may be the compensator.

I replaced the engine temp sensor this morning.

Was talking to my Indy mech and telling him that I couldn't shutdown getting gas as it was hard starting, back fired & seemed to load up on fuel. This only happened when it was warm. Only code it threw was crank position sensor was intermittent so I replaced that, was a little better but not what it should be. He said bad engine temp sensor when going bad will do the same thing as it will think the motor is cold when it's not & will throw more fuel at it. Anyway replaced it and starts like it is suppose to. Rarely throws a code when it goes bad according to him.
This is on my 2008 RG 107 Big Bore Stage 3
