I've seen these threads on other forums, and they can go on forever. Just some place to post what you might have done in any particular day.

I'll start with this past weekend. I went out Sunday morning intending to ride down the road, any road. When the first 40mph gust of wind hit me, I changed my mind and headed over to Iron Pony instead. It being early Sunday, and the service dept was open, I decided to get the new tires I was needing. So, a few dollars later I ended up with two new Dunlop American Elites and new pads on the front brakes. They were out of the Metzler ME880's, but these are new model Dunlops, and it appears they only make two sizes so far, both just happen to fit my bike. Web site says more sizes coming in 2011. Only have about 300 miles on them, but so far they seem to be good tires. Holds the wind well :D (Sunday was VERY windy, almost got blown over getting off the bike)

Next up, Progressive 940's are on the way.

Got some more parts off of it for paint. Swapped out the boring stock mirrors for less boring stock mirrors off of another model. Changed out my boring stock shift linkage for the one I had on my '11. Finished up installing my air wing rack light.

WTH. It's a CVO. Talk about me. :D
Completed the 1k service. Installed Jackpot 2-1-2 Ceramic Stainless Steel head pipe and 4.5 Pro Touring slip on's which really woke the motor up in a satisfying way. This is the same setup on had on my 2011 RGC. It's even better on the 2015.

Took a ride down to Ft Lauderdale FL from Orlando and back. Pretty good day.
Ordered the cables for my new bars and the install parts for my new radio
Ah ha, That's more like it!

Although I like the styling of the 15 RGS with it's stock OEM seat, comfort for both myself and wife was not the forte of that seat. So today I purchased and installed a 4 point docking hardware kit, detachable sissy bar, passenger backrest, and locking detachable latch kit. In preparation for this change, I also installed an RGU touring seat I had previously customized by Mean City Cycle w/memory foam mod for both rider and passenger. The riders section was also lowered 1 inch.

Wife and I went for a ride this afternoon and we are both happy with the change.

regards,

Well some of those parts came off the '11. :p Only parts I took off to get painted are the rear TP light and the mid frame air deflectors. Still waiting on my new rear fascia to get here. Couldn't reuse the one off the '11. I had to leave it on the bike because of the mounting holes in the fender. New lower bags are in the garage. I still have to make my vent screens, install the aux switch panel on the left side of the fork lock, install my BAL and my Paul's RG led lights. I also have some new reflector replacement inserts to go in the saddlebag latches once I have the new lowers done.

Whew, glad you fixed it. Thought one of us was color blind. :D:D
