What did you do to your Road Glide Today?

I've seen these threads on other forums, and they can go on forever. Just some place to post what you might have done in any particular day.

I'll start with this past weekend. I went out Sunday morning intending to ride down the road, any road. When the first 40mph gust of wind hit me, I changed my mind and headed over to Iron Pony instead. It being early Sunday, and the service dept was open, I decided to get the new tires I was needing. So, a few dollars later I ended up with two new Dunlop American Elites and new pads on the front brakes. They were out of the Metzler ME880's, but these are new model Dunlops, and it appears they only make two sizes so far, both just happen to fit my bike. Web site says more sizes coming in 2011. Only have about 300 miles on them, but so far they seem to be good tires. Holds the wind well :D (Sunday was VERY windy, almost got blown over getting off the bike)

Next up, Progressive 940's are on the way.

Took the first trip after Stage 2 Install. Power Cam and New Rinehart Headpipe. Didn't realize what I was missing on the highway. They should come like this stock. Also added the fancy new Timer Cover.
FYI- Stage 2, All SE Parts. 97hp, 106TQ.

I'm pleasantly surprised at how well the Power Cam works even though you can't utilize it's max power passed 3rd gear with the speed limiter set at 110mph. Lol!

Works very well cruising the interstate and no slouch around town. I really want to do one of the 124" kits but I've had absolutely zero issues in over 8k miles and I am a bit cautious about messing with a good thing. Sure I could get more power but what would the reliability be...

Updated the Boom software to MY19.19.03.00 and got my dealer to flash for WHIM. Apple CarPlay now works without/without headset or actual WHIM installed.

Installed Custom Dynamics Probeam Inserts Front and Rear with Smoked Lenses
Pictures DO NOT do them justice!

And HD Curved License Plate Frame(Pain in the @ss)

Side Note: My Better half told me the $ Spent was totally worth it! I myself am extremely pleased with the light output I tried to take a picture directly head on and the lighting washed out the picture.

Hey TN, the bike is looking great!

I have the older version and I agree they are a HUGE improvement and a great upgrade in being visible!!! And great color choice on the bike of course!
I agree furthermore my wife even agreed to let me purchase the upgraded tri bar from custom Dynamics as well.

I also added the CD Magic Strobe brake modulator - you might consider it, the blaster pattern is awesome! Plug and play easy peasy.

Am I reading this correctly; the new Boom update allows for Apple CarPlay? Which version of the Boom?

Yep! A fellow Harley rider mentioned the video from LawAbidingBiker on YouTube when I picked up my ‘19 FLTRU last Saturday. I viewed it and went to my dealer first thing Tuesday morning. They applied the Boom software update, then used digital technician to enable the “WHIM Installed” setting and voila! First time they’d heard of it so were a little surprised at the outcome. I sent them the link to the video. They were good guys and didn’t charge me anything for the 15 minutes it took them to make the changes.

I think it only works on the Boom GTS for 19’s though, so not sure if it’ll be offered for pre-19’s on the older platform in the future or not.
I swapped out my scalloped Dunlop for an Avon Chrome and swapped the front bearings while I had the wheel off. Looking forward to my long ride later this morning.

Got back from our vacation to galveston yesterday afternoon, so will be washing all the sand and lovely texas road construction debris off of the bike. On a plus note bike did excellent and had a great time. My wife said she waved at every bike we passed to be respectful even if I was in a situation that I couldnt. She said that a lot didnt which she understood at times you cant. But she did say that every road glide waved. I told her to be quiet or everyone might know about the secret brotherhood lol.

I've had this bike for an eternity or so it seems.

Currently showing 136,000 miles. You couldn't give me a brand new top of the line CVO model bike in an even exchange for her.

Stripped it down to clean it... rode 162 miles and almost got caught in a nasty storm.

It’s ridiculous how dirty this bike gets but I do live in Amish country.

Work on the Ultra today but didn't get as much done as I wanted. I have some issues I have to figure out tomorrow hopefully. Look at my thread to see what I did today.

Put my heel shifter back on.. and will probably take it right back off just as fast.
