What did you do to your Road Glide Today?

I've seen these threads on other forums, and they can go on forever. Just some place to post what you might have done in any particular day.

I'll start with this past weekend. I went out Sunday morning intending to ride down the road, any road. When the first 40mph gust of wind hit me, I changed my mind and headed over to Iron Pony instead. It being early Sunday, and the service dept was open, I decided to get the new tires I was needing. So, a few dollars later I ended up with two new Dunlop American Elites and new pads on the front brakes. They were out of the Metzler ME880's, but these are new model Dunlops, and it appears they only make two sizes so far, both just happen to fit my bike. Web site says more sizes coming in 2011. Only have about 300 miles on them, but so far they seem to be good tires. Holds the wind well :D (Sunday was VERY windy, almost got blown over getting off the bike)

Next up, Progressive 940's are on the way.

scored some CVO take off exhaust. Smoked Brushed Chrome. Looks better in my opinion. Slip ons are larger but not much difference in sound. I think the color looks good with the vivid black.

I'm liking that look. Would be nice to make the air cleaner and rocker boxes match but that alone is looks good even.

can't make out if that's surface warfare, or dolphins. but like the idea i'm DBF and salvage diver nam era.
Added the Fan Assisted Oil Cooler to my CVO. Probably not necessary but they say we are in for a Hot Summer and I occasionally have to do some paddle footin' in traffic so I imagine it can't hurt... Besides, I was bored! Had the dealer flash it for the cooler the last time it was in there. Since then, when I rode it without the cooler it set a code for Cooling Fan Circuit Open because the computer was lookin for it but not seeing it. No big deal though. Cleared the codes and it's good. Is there a harness already in place, or did you have to run a wire? I’ve been thinking about doing it before the summer comes, even though it’s already warm here in South Florida.

does that fan mount behind the factory cooler or ???
Went for a 150 mile round trip ride yesterday. Let it sit to cool off before I wiped it down and move back into my barn (since it called for rain today and no ride to work) While wiping it down, noted something on top of the Transmission cover. Once on the left side of the bike saw oil seeping out of the left rear most rocker cover bolt. Will take the tank off Friday morning and check to see if its tight, if not then I get another gasket to change it out myself.

Harness is already there on the bike. Just has a dust cap in it that you remove and then plug the new fan into.

Not today but 2 days ago, went on a nice 250 mile laidback ride w/ my bro. It was great to get in the wind and breath.
I use to "smoke" my bro when his S&S 124" motor was stock. Now all I see is his tail lights! (146 HP & 156 TQ)

However we were very being good and kept it 5 over the legal limit for the most part!

My bro has 3 sets of saddlebags, stock, stretched bags, and these w/ 2 sets of 6x9 in each bags w/ artwork. His sound system is as badazz as his motor.

Came home this morning to get into this...the 3 bolts on the left side rear cover were loose, turning them with my fingers. Tightened them up and then double checked the rest. Now time to ride.

Glad You found the leak Tony.
I think it may be time to find a new dealer for Your warranty work.
Enjoy Your ride Bro.
