What did you do to your Road Glide Today?

I've seen these threads on other forums, and they can go on forever. Just some place to post what you might have done in any particular day.

I'll start with this past weekend. I went out Sunday morning intending to ride down the road, any road. When the first 40mph gust of wind hit me, I changed my mind and headed over to Iron Pony instead. It being early Sunday, and the service dept was open, I decided to get the new tires I was needing. So, a few dollars later I ended up with two new Dunlop American Elites and new pads on the front brakes. They were out of the Metzler ME880's, but these are new model Dunlops, and it appears they only make two sizes so far, both just happen to fit my bike. Web site says more sizes coming in 2011. Only have about 300 miles on them, but so far they seem to be good tires. Holds the wind well :D (Sunday was VERY windy, almost got blown over getting off the bike)

Next up, Progressive 940's are on the way.

I had not heard of Iconium so looked it up. Population 35! The roads around the town look like sweet country two-lane riding........
I actually only heard about it for the first time two days ago, that I remember. Stumbled on through it to today. Hit quite a few first time roads today.
35 may be generous…
I rode mine to work today. Better than nothing the way i see it.

so. people have been swapping out front fenders left and right, but i've never really found 'the one' so i just kept putting it off, not really wanting to spend the money. when they debuted the 'st' models, i thought, 'that's the one', so i ordered a vivid black one from surdyke. took about 2 weeks to get (another one of the joys of vivid black!) and installed it today. i like it. i think it goes really well with the accessory chin spoiler. and thanks to paypal credit, i've got 6 months to pay it off ;D (though i'll probably do it in 2).

before and after to highlight the difference:

Installed these AF switches. Hooked up one on/off to the air compressor the other one to the power for the air pressure gauges. Put the new SAC controller on and swapped out the plastic Ts with stainless ones. Wired up the air pressure gauges 90% need 2 small connectors to hook to the battery. Got my Dunphys tank badges in. I'll get them on once the air system is 100% buttoned up.

I had an appt. At a speed spot to dyno my cam install. I went and talked to them some moths back. Read reviews for And decided to let them do the whole install.
On my phone calender it has them for the 22nd “all day”. So I cleaned the shit out of it after a good week of riding and the damn bugs smiling at us..
I hooked up the trailer, wheel chock, …. Thought, …. Monday…. Allot of dealers, shops are closed…. I called. Voice mail.
checked internet. Open Tuesday 0900.
guess my apt was for wed. Drop off Tuesday.
raining the next 2-3 day..
Better notes may be required.

If there was a bucket truck working on the signs it was me. I didn’t see any bikes or I would’ve been sneaking a peek

Actually last Friday. But I got it stuck on the lift.

Swapped out the rear tire and serviced the rear brakes, then the pneumatic cylinder failed when I went to unlock it and let it down.

Pulled the 14” off and put on the 9”. Pics for reference. Maybe tomorrow I’ll flash the updated tune and see if she is rideable again.
Anyone come up with a good rack or way to store multiple windshields?

Installed a set of Memphis shades hand guards. They definitely get the job done.
