Ordered a new seat from them called the Venom, it’s supposed to be the hybrid between the Freedom which is really comfy and the Scorpion which is much flatter and designed for the more aggressive rider.
So far I’m pretty early on the list for it but OfficialMac (YouTuber) has one. I’ve actually sat on his bike at a local bike night but at the time he had the Scorpion seat and he mentioned something new coming from them so he advised me to wait. I couldn’t wait so I called George at BB and ordered over the phone. Can’t wait for it to arrive.
Yea i had ordered the scorpion back in June was still waiting for it to be shipped, then last week George called me and offered me the venom. Supposed to ship out 10-15 days from the day we spoke. We will see.

Dialed in my Madstad windshield installed last week. I can’t say it is leaps and bounds better than the 14” Freedom Shields Sport touring (versus the wider touring) wind shield I bought a few weeks earlier, but it does smooth out the wind incrementally better, and I do like the adjustability for a long, buggy, or wet ride.

I’m a solo rider exclusively, so I don't have quite the need to manage the wind as much as two up riders do.

Wait! the dealer told me there was only one is this color!!

:p
I looked from Atlanta to Miami for about 3 months for this bike and I’d say he was right… for a little while at least. Lol
Finally gave up and was calling on a black and blacked out special when the dealer told me that the only new RGS was Reef/Vivid!! Needless to say, I bee-lined 1.5hrs there and rode it home in the rain.

Mine was traded to a dealer an hour away with 1800 miles on it for an ST. I saw it on-line the day after they traded for it. Drove the next morning and bought it.

Went for a ride from Central Louisiana to little Rock, Arkansas yesterday with a buddy. Original plan was to go to st louis for some BBQ and back home after crossing the Mississippi to get our first 1k in a day. Unfortunately right before we went to leave from the dealership I had a personal issue cut out day short. It was a gorgeous day at least so we made the best of the day.

Installed the DK Customs 1-1/2 tank lift kit. It’s supposed to make the bike run a little cooler because more air hitting the heads.
done that before going to Sturgis. The heads seemed alot cooler, than before.

After sturgis, noticed the right fork seal was leaking. Buy the parts to service them, and strip the pinch bolt on lower right fork. Then work and hurricane got in the way, with a few weeks delay. Got out today, drilled and ez out the bolt and then got both forks serviced and replaced. Removed outer fairing to get at the vents...right one will not stay open, so I plan to remove them as I never close them.

Finally got around yesterday to doing the smart tune with Screamin Eagle Pro Street Tuner that I got with my Stage 2 upgrade on my Limited. While I’ve been ok with the stock map, every bike is different. I have stock headers, SE Ventilator Extreme air cleaner and S&S GNX 4.5’s. The canned map just doesn’t compare to the smart tune. Wish I hadn’t waited so long to do it.

Cleaned Bugs off of it, which is a good thing. Nothing better than taking it out for a cruise with the bride on a beautiful fall day. Not many good riding days left, so we take it out when we can.
