Getting ready to install the 300x 4 Fosgate amp... What gauge amp wire is everyone running? Thanks Jeff

eight on pbr300x2, 10 will work just as well

I'm using 10 AWG on the 2 channel x 300 Fosgate amp. I like the thinner wire for stashing purpose and being such a short run.

I have 4 amps and I'm running 8 gauge, more than adequate.

im running 10ga power and 10ga ground.

unless your running BIG power 10 should be good. if you are running a "D class" amp you will need to go big wire 4ga - 0ga but that is a whole other catagory not normally found on bikes.

Not a true statement. Class D amps are more efiicient and pull less draw.

10 ga is plenty if running just full range speakers. Im running 8 ga only because i had 30 ft sitting in my garage from the install in my old truck.

correct, what I ment was with a setup like in a car with heavy draw you will need a heavier wire...
