I am 6 '3. I have the 12" klockwerks. It rattles the sunglasses off. I like the wind. If I go shorter will this persist. The new bikes I see on the show room floor all are quite short. I am not looking so much for rain and what not protection. I would like to get rid of goggles and wear the sunglasses. thanks in advance.

The cheapest solution, a bandana. I'm not just being a smart ass,... I lost 3 pairs with the stock shield before I figured out the solution. I put my sunglasses on,.. then put a bandana on OVER them. Up on the top, and then on the sides over the ears. Bring the bandana down over your sunglasses and kind of a visor over your eyebrows. Before, everytime I looked down at the ground going down the road,.. wind would suck them off my face. Now,.. I can ride backwards on the saddle and not have to worry about losing my sunglasses.

I am also 6'3" and I have the 12 KW. I had the 8 inch and the wind noise at highway speeds killed the radio. I also had some buffeting with the 8 inch. I did not mind the wind, it was the wind noise. I am much happier with the 12KW than the 8 inch. I think after I put the lowers on the wind noise will be almost gone. I still get some wind which I like, but the wind noise was cut in half. You may want to look into lowers.

Bandanas are the ticket. I have been using them for a while now... It works. Even though I am wearing a half helmet, the bandana keeps the sunglasses in place.

I had the 12" WindVest installed at the dealer before I picked mine up, and just made the first over 60 mph trip on the freeway, and I think I picked too short on the size. My full face helmet was bouncing around so much it felt like an amusement park ride. This being my first street bike, I'm assuming that it should be a little smoother than that at 60-65. It was a windy day today, but still........ I'm just over 6' with 32" inseam. I had the Sundowner touring seat installed as well, and it has me sitting a little higher than normal. Guess I'll try the stock seat next.

Thanks

think I will get a taller sheild for long trips. I rolled the apes back a little it still keeps back straight and sets me back a little. just enough that it helps a great deal.
